Zoso - The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Tribute

In 1995, Zoso was formed to create the most mesmerizing and accurate portrayal of "the biggest band of the 1970s" - Led Zeppelin (Rolling Stone). Each member was selected to portray both the appearance and playing styles of Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham and John Paul Jones. Zoso almost immediately developed an outstanding regional reputation and were awarded "Best Tribute Act in California" by Rock City News.

In 1999, Zoso began touring nationally, playing a remarkable 2,400 live performances, honing their show to become one of the most musically and visually rewarding acts in North America. Their passion, musical ability, showmanship and precise attention to detail earned them critical acclaim, name recognition and a large loyal following. The Los Angeles Times hailed the group as being "head and shoulders above all other Zeppelin tributes," and the Chicago Sun-Times declared Zoso to be "the closest to the original of any tribute."

Every year since its conception, Zoso continues to play 150 - 180 high profile concerts at performance arts centers, civic centers, theaters, festivals, and universities. Since 2004, the band has been working on numerous shows with Live Nation including a rotation of 9 House of Blues venues. The four permanent members' mastery of authentic vintage instruments coupled with spot-on vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards, their compelling stage persona and distinct Led Zeppelin sound, with astounding visual imagery recreates the music, magic, and mystery of a Zeppelin concert. Each of the timeless hit songs performed in their sets are known and loved by generations of fans.

Zoso, comprised of Matt Jernigan (Robert Plant), John McDaniel (Jimmy Page), Adam Sandling (John Paul Jones) and Greg Thompson (John Bonham), actively self-promote each engagement. Their Web site, www.zosoontour.com, registers more than 125,000 visits annually and their national email fan base exceeds 15,000 addresses. A publicist supports the group's tours and individual performances.

If you missed Led Zeppelin live in the '70s or are looking for a great chance to relive the "Hammer of the Gods" phenomenon, you must experience what the St. Petersburg Times calls "the most exacting of the Zeppelin tribute bands in existence."

Blackout

Orthodox Fuzz

Since 2007 Orthodox Fuzz has been bringing a unique style of heavy southern rock to the fans of DFW and the surrounding region. Whether its playing to a packed dive bar on a Saturday night or opening for bands such as Saint Vitus, Kill Devil Hill, Eyehategod, Honky, Dixie Witch or Las Cruces - the boys in the Fuzz are always looking earn fans one at a time. If you get a chance to check them out, be sure to bring your earplugs, the Fuzz is loud, really loud and unrelenting. The point of a Fuzz show is to have a good time and be thoroughly rocked!

Formed in the fall of 2007, founding members Brian H.(Hacksaw) and Dale Williams set out to form a band whose style was sorely missed in the DFW rock scene at the time. A riff driven heavy rock band with both classic and modern influence that would excite fans of multiple genres and all ages. After almost 2 years of hard work and multiple early line up changes, the band was complete with the addition of guitarist Joey Grice, Brock Brooks on vocals and Christian on drums. Going at it with a vengeance, the band was playing every live show they could and hitting into the studio as much as possible. Christian decided to leave the band in mid 2010 leaving a void in the drum throne. After a few weeks of auditions the band hired Jeremiah Valdez, a young up and coming drum legend who filled out the sound to an even higher level than before. It was only after months of rehearsal and two live shows that tragedy struck -- in late October of 2010 Jeremiah passed away from heart complications in his sleep. Unclear as to the future of the band, the remaining members of the Fuzz took some time off to mourn the loss of their fallen brother. Toward the end of 2010, the band began holding auditions to fill the shoes left by Jeremiah. I didn't take long before the band stumbled across Jeff "Beam" Jones, which led to the band finally perfecting the overall sound and forming a brotherhood stronger than they've ever had. The band played their first show in 5 months and went on to dominate the DFW live scene in 2011 - a year that also saw the Fuzz open two shows for new Rex Brown (Pantera/Down) and Vinnie Appice (Dio/Black Sabbath) band Kill Devil Hill. Toward the end of the year, the band had the opportunity to open for southern sludge metal pioneers Eyehategod.

2012 saw some changes for the Fuzz. A change was made up front with the addition of Andrew Kimbrell in the vocal position. Andrew is hands down one of DFW's most talented and energetic singers and brought a whole new depth of song-writing and vocal ability to the band. Within two-weeks of joining and with a minimal amount of practice, Andrew blew everybody away when the Fuzz opened for the legendary Rigor Mortis. The band completed recording an EP with the new line-up which was released in November 2012. The Fuzz took all opportunities to hit every stage possible, bringing their brand of southern heavy rock to the masses. Gigs included the Metroplex Heavy Fest (providing direct support for Earthen Grave's headlining performance) and opening the Dallas Ride for Dime where the Fuzz shared the stage with Honky, Texas Hippie Coalition, Warbeast and outlaw country legend David Allen Coe.

In 2015 Andrew departed to focus on his new business, Rival Signs. After a number of auditions, Britt Parker was chosen to continue in the OF vocalist spot. Britt brings a great stage presence and dynamic personality to front the band.
