Gad Elmaleh, one of the biggest and most recognizable comedic talents in the world, returns to New York City this November for two shows at Town Hall. The performances will take place on November 18 with shows at 7PM and 9:30PM.
The announcement comes as Gad prepares for a highly-anticipated comedy performance with Jerry Seinfeld, which will take place at this year’s famed Just For Laughs Festival on July 26 in Montreal.
Since his move to the United States, Gad has quickly grown from being France’s most popular standup comedian to becoming a global comedy sensation. He previously completed a residency at Joe's Pub in New York City, which saw him performing to sold-out crowds for more than fifty nights. The impressive run led to a multi-city major comedy tour across the United States. Overseas, Gad has performed at stadiums across Europe and completed sold-out runs at the world-famous Olympia Theater Hall and the Palais des Sports.
Gad has been featured on Jerry Seinfeld's “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” and has made memorable guest appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Conan. He has also been heard on such radio shows as “This American Life,” PRI's “The World” and WNYC's Brian Lehrer, along with profiles in Vanity Fair, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Esquire, Los Angeles Times and the New Yorker.
