The Epicurean Event of the Year
Celebrating our Local Farmers and Ranchers
What better way to learn about local food then to experience it firsthand. The Third Annual Taste of Local brings together farmers, chefs and community to celebrate our local harvest and the diversity of great food we have right here in Ventura County. It’s sure to be the epicurean event of the year. Over 60 area chefs, wineries, brewers and farmers will showcase their culinary expertise.
Meet the Chefs
Ventura County has an amazing group of top-line chefs, many of whom have helped pioneer the locally sourced movement. Meet the chefs and purveyors as you taste their wares and learn from these field-to-fork specialists about the bounty that is Ventura County.
The Taste of Local Festival is teaming up with the Ventura Independent Beer Enthusiasts (VIBE) beer club to showcase The Homebrew Challenge. Guests will vote for their favorite as local brewers compete for top awards for the best home brews in the county.
Strawberry Short Cake Bar
In addition to building your very own strawberry short cake compliments of the California Strawberry Commission, Totally Local VC will provide a locally sourced grazing station to make sure you get enough to eat.
Dan Grimm 12-5pm
Dan Grimm is an independent singer, songwriter, and producer with three recorded albums: Corvus Crow, Ventucky and Average Savage. Dan's sound includes blending vintage guitar rock with California country, folk, and progressive story telling. He currently lives in Ojai, California and tours year-round.
Special guest TD Lang.
