Wolf Gang
The Royal Concept, Frank + Derol

Inspired by the likes of Talking Heads, Roxy Music and David Bowie, as well as more contemporary artists such as Arcade Fire, Wolf Gang’s sound packs in an abundance of suave panache, ear-thwacking beats and heart-throttling melodies. Max McElligott and his crack combo have quickly cultivated a dedicated and avid fan base through two years of nearly non-stop live performances, including headline tours, support slots with Coldplay, Florence + The Machine, The Killers, The Naked And Famous, plus countless festival appearances.
The band’s debut album, ‘Suego Faults’ was co-produced by the legendary Dave Fridmann (MGMT, The Flaming Lips, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah), who discovered McElligott’s original bedroom demo of “Lions In Cages” back in October 2010 and swiftly invited him to record at his world famous Tarbox Road Studios in upstate Cassadaga, New York.
Stylish, soulful and incessantly magnetising, Wolf Gang’s full inauguration is about to begin.
Previously known as the Concept Store and the Concept, Stockholm's Royal Concept features vocalist/guitarist David Larson, guitarist Filip Bekic, bassist Magnus Robert, and drummer Frans Povel. The group debuted in 2010 with the single "Damn!," which introduced their Phoenix-like mix of sunny pop and electronic elements. The following year, the tracks "D-D-Dance" and "Gimme Twice" earned them more fans. Early in 2012, the band -- which settled on the Royal Concept moniker that April -- signed to Lava Records, which released the group's self-titled debut EP that June.
Codi Caraco grew up in Los Angeles. She started writing songs in first grade, around the same time that she came to school singing Smashing Pumpkins. Brandi Cyrus, daughter of Billy Ray, split her childhood between a tour bus and a home in Nashville. t took her until age 18 to pick up the guitar and she signed on as a tour guitarist and never looked back. The girls met five years ago, late one night on a national tour as tour musicians. Codi and Brandi started writing music together, quickly finding that Brandi's folksy, organic sensibilities and love for 90's grunge was the perfect complement to Codi's ear for the off-kilter, structural and strange.
Together they formed FRANK + DEROL. The two of them started playing shows, refining their material and collaborating with other young artists. The result is a phenomenal collection of music headed for EP release in September with a full album set to drop in 2013. Bringing to mind the effortless shimmer of indie-pop artists like Ellie Goulding and Freelance Whales, FRANK + DEROL's debut maintains a dimensionality that leaves the listener with a taste that's better than sweet.
