Admiral Fallow
Young Buffalo, dragondeer

Declared by MOJO as "Scottish indie rock's new champs" --Glasgow's Admiral Fallow has earned comparisons to the likes of The Delgados and Midlake, and attracted plaudits from such high-profile individuals as Elbow’s Guy Garvey, King Creosote and Guillemots’ Fyfe Dangerfield. They made their stateside debut with an appearance at last year's SXSW, where they received praise from NPR's influential All Songs Considered and Paste Magazine. “Squealing Pigs,” their foot-stomping, clarinet-driven, sing-along single from their critically acclaimed debut album Boots Met My Face, was the soundtrack to a GE commercial that made its network television premiere during Super Bowl XLVI to an estimated audience of over 111 million.
Louis Abbott: vocals, guitars
Kevin Brolly: clarinet, keys, piano, vocals
Phil Hague: drums, percussion, vocals
Sarah Hayes: flute, piano, accordion, vocals
Joe Rattray: bass, vocals
Young Buffalo, the former-moniker of the solo work of Jim Barrett, was born in the summer of '09 with the addition of Alex Von Hardberger and Ben Yarbrough. Without much more than song ideas and one booked show, they guys began crafting a sound steeped in 3-part harmonies and pounding percussion. Young Buffalo self-released the Catapilah Demo with plans to record a follow-up EP this winter.
Stay tuned.
