Acclaimed chef and restaurateur Robert Irvine has seen things most gastronomic personalities only dream about, and gone where others fear to tread. Cooking his way through Europe, the Far East, the Caribbean and across America on his two hit Food Network series, “Dinner: Impossible” and “Restaurant: Impossible,” the author of “Mission: Cook! – My Life, My Recipes, And Making The Impossible Easy” (HarperCollins) has prepared masterful culinary creations for virtually every possible occasion, from simple intimate gatherings to dinners for the British Royal Family, including heads of state and honored guests aboard their Royal Yacht Britannia; for high-ranking dignitaries, politicians and VIP’s as part of the Guest Chef program at the White House; for 6,000 servicemen and women on a US aircraft carrier; and various celebrity events such as a spectacular star-studded Academy Awards gala after party.
On Dinner: Impossible, Irvine was challenged every week, traveling at a moment’s notice to cook by the clock in locations unknown and events undisclosed, with no idea where his kitchen, equipment or food would come from. He cooked on a deserted island, in an Ice Hotel, without electricity in a 17th century manor at Colonial Williamsburg, for 4,000 at the inauguration of Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, for Priscilla Presley at Graceland, for the animators at Pixar Studios, for 1,000 construction workers in Boston, for 850 Marines heading for Iraq, and for the Master Chefs at the Culinary Institute of America. It’s no surprise that fellow chef Bobby Flay referred to Irvine as “The Indiana Jones of Chefs.”

On his current hit Food Network series, “Restaurant: Impossible,” Irvine faces daunting new challenges on every episode as he strives to save some of America’s most desperate restaurants from impending failure -- in just two days with only $10,000. Utilizing his signature creativity, resourcefulness and muscle, Irvine fights to rescue these establishments and give new hope to their owners and employees.
With his new “Robert Irvine Live” stage show, the seasoned, celebrated, no-nonsense chef takes his signature culinary sensibilities to a whole new level, resulting in a high energy, interactive, multimedia and multi-sensory theatrical experience that offers numerous opportunities for audience participation as Irvine faces new and unique culinary challenges. Since first launching on April 13, 2012, at the Capitol Theater in Clearwater, Florida, Robert Irvine Live has sold-out to rave reviews and standing ovations. There are currently 16 shows scheduled throughout the rest of 2012 in the U.S., Canada and Hawaii.

A native of England, Irvine joined the British Royal Navy as a teenager, where his extraordinary skills in the kitchen soon came to the attention of his superiors. After 25 years in the culinary profession, he has transcended the limitations of recipes and rote techniques to devise an approach to cooking that is uniquely his own. In 2007, Irvine was named both an Ambassador for the Culinary Institute of America, as well as one of the “25 Fittest Guys in America” by Men’s Fitness -- on the same list that included Kobe Bryant, Andy Roddick and Matt Damon.
