A colorful and uniquely evocative musical project, Musaner's performs compositions which blend folk music from Armenia with jazz orchestration. Ara Sarkissian's arrangements draw on influences ranging from American jazz to European post-modernist music, encompassing a wide array of musical language and textures. During the past few years, Musaner has played extensively in the Boston area to sell-out audiences, and has performed in Milano, Italy and Zurich, Switzerland presenting their colorful, exciting and entertaining music.
