Ashley Alexander has been making her mark in Maryland Tri-state area for 5 yrs through performing and songwriting. With the help of her production company, The Bang Department, Ashley has produced a variety of songs. "I have eccentric taste in the music I listen to in my spare time. I wanted to translate that through my work. I want to able to perform at a hip hop show somewhere and turn around perform at a trance club, then go to a nice, r&b performance. I want to always be adaptable." Her first album, "The World Needs What I Need" was released October 2006 and recieved rave reviews. With her combination of R&b, Hip Hop,Pop, Soul, Drum & Bass she has made a style and all her own. Having performed shows with such greats as Krs One, Chuck Brown, & Prince, Ashley Alexander has a fun, elegant, commanding show. "I try my hardest to make my audience understand that I understand them. I come from a very honest place with my songs and hope that others receive it." So far, So Good.
