Hannah & Maggie
Hannah & Maggie, a young award-winning singer songwriter act from NYC/Northampton MA. Commended as "the blue-eyed soul of folk" and "a flawless continuation of the singer-songwriter tradition", most often compared to The Indigo Girls and Simon & Garfunkel. Last year, they released their third CD, In The Company of Strangers, were one of the 100 Women We Love in GO Magazine, featured in Curve Magazine, had a performance & interview with John Platt on WFUV, played a couple dates and sang a song live with Ben Taylor (son of James Taylor & Carly Simon) and wrote some new tunes coming out in the near future.Their live shows are toe-tapping, knee-slapping spectacles of crystal-clear harmonies and heartfelt acoustic arrangements that leave you wanting more
“Best live shows to catch in NYC” – The Village Voice. Take Norah Jones' tone, Fiona Apple's growl, and Ani Difranco's honesty - and you've got Aly Tadros. The Texas-born and NY-based artist songstress has performed over 900 shows in 10 countries since her 2009 debut. Her unique folk-stylings can be traced everywhere from her Egyptian roots, to the traditional Mexican vihuela she uses on stage and in the studio. Aly has been featured in American Songwriter, Interview Magazine, Paste, USA Today, MTV, The Village Voice and more. She endorses Fender & H. Jimenez instruments. In December 2016, she released her third album, "Hungry Ghost," co-produced by Kevin Salem (Rachael Yamagata, Yo La Tengo, Mike Doughty). Popdose calls the album a "baker’s dozen of solid, heartfelt and dynamic songs with a crispness and perfect balance of sound".
