The Katie Sullivan Band is an acoustic/electric “folkadelic” team of stellar musicians, known for the powerhouse lead vocals of Katie Sullivan, as well as our extremely talented musicians – guitars, fiddler, mandolin, world percussion, and impeccable harmonies.
We are energetic, and known for our ability to play any song requested by our audience. We are an Americana Folk/Rock band, seasoned with bluegrass, blues, and country.
Katie performs solo, but often you will see the Katie Sullivan Band in duo, trio, or full five piece formation with an eclectic mix of world percussion, drums, fiddle, flute, bass, and upright bass, guitars and guitars, and impeccable, energetic harmonies.
Our list of venues include City of Chicago’s Bluesfest and City of Chicago Celtic Fest, Chicago’s Navy Pier, The Castle -Fort Meyers Florida, Fado and Fitzgerald’s-Las Vegas
As well as many Chicagoland venues such as Bourbon Street, House of Blues, Martyr’s, Subterranean, Fado- Chicago, Quigley’s Pub, Harrah’s Casino – Joliet, The Irish Cottage Resort – Galena Illinois, Durbins, and many more…
Our television/media exposure includes yearly live national appearances on WGN NEWS (for past 6 years), monthly live airplay on WDCB 90.0 public radio, WXRT 93.1-Local Anesthetic program, NBC and Fox News. Famed entertainment reporter Marcus LeShock from CLTV did a feature segment on the Katie Sullivan Band and dubbed us “the busiest touring acoustic band in the Midwest.”

We are counting down the days to St. Patricks Day at Durty Nellie's. Join us for our Celtic Folk Showcase featuring the acoustic stylings of Katie Sullivan during dinner in our Pub.
Katie will be performing from 5:30-8:30p and playing every Friday leading up to our St. Patricks Day Party.
