With super-sized vocals and genre-spanning songwriting chops that blur the lines between country, pop and rock, Maggie Rose has earned a loyal audience, both in her adopted hometown of Nashville and beyond. It's an audience that's grown with her for nearly a decade, spending days as a songwriter and nights sharing the stage with artists like Tim McGraw and Sheryl Crow. Through it all, Rose has established herself as a rare triple threat: a multi-faceted artist who can write, perform, and produce a hit song.
Raised in Maryland, Rose cut her teeth as the leader of a Bruce Springsteen cover band before beginning to write her own songs, drawing on her unique background — including a move to Nashville as a 19-year-old — for inspiration. Since then, she's filled her resume with accolades, awards, and chart hits, including more than 30 appearances at the Grand Ole Opry, an Emmy Award, multiple performances on the nationally-syndicated Bobby Bones Show, and praise from outlets like Vogue, The New York Times and NPR.
The buzz has reached a fever-pitch with her newer songs, many of which were debuted on Rose's website during the summer of 2015, that combine the exhilaration of hip-hop with the impact of '80s rock and the rootsy, story-based stomp of country music. This scene-stealing look and sound
was carried over to her latest EP, ’The Variety Show - Vol.1,’ which came out in April 2016. It's a sound that's as varied and energetic as Rose herself, pointing to a star who continues to carve out a space for herself in the country world, even as she challenges its boundaries.
Rose is currently in the studio, working on a project that continues display her evolving style, transcend norms and showcase her unique artistry and sonic and lyrical versatility.
Madison's love for music started early. The Duluth, Georgia native remembers putting on shows in her living room and inviting all of the neighborhood kids and parents to watch. She was what they would call a "fearless" girl. At the age of 10 years old, Madison wrote her first song accompanied by her first music video which she created with the help of her friends. Since that day, Madison's goal has been to write relatable songs meant to inspire others, " I fell in love with how words could fit together so perfectly and how if you are feeling an emotion, chances are so is someone else." Madison values her involvement in charitable endeavors and is passionate about her role in helping others. Madison has played shows all around the state of Georgia as well as Nashville, TN. She has been named Teen Artist of the Year for the 2015 Georgia Country Awards. Her single "Crazy Like That" was on 94.9 THE BULL's backyard country for 10 weeks and she held the number one spot for 6 weeks! Her commitment to creating and performing music is stronger than ever, and she is currently writing with several songwriters in both Georgia and Tennessee, while she is getting ready to release her debut EP which will be available on ITunes, Spotify, Google Play, and Apple Music. Please take a listen, and if you like it, please listen again with a friend!
