HR People

About six years after Davis Stone and Ryan Hughes first recoded their voices over a beat, they gave their art a name and began to shape their vision into their songs…
It began when they were 15 years old, and could see no further than the place and moment they were in. Originally calling themselves Fly and Family Stone, they struggled to find their voice on a microphone. With no true vision at the time of ever being musicians themselves, curiosity began to form a sound.
With each song they made they got closer to the desired end. It was not their goal to create another hip-hop song, or to create hip-hop at all. With influences coming from The Strokes to Gangstarr, from Atmosphere to Death Cab for Cutie, the product they sought was simply their expression through music.
It was not until they met drummer and songwriter Jordan Reynolds in 2009 that they began to see the full potential of what their sound could be. With the addition of his harmonious vocals and folk-infused songwriting, the songs grew in content and feel. Each song attempts to investigate their experiences through their growth, and to involve the listener in their progression.
In 2011, Stone, Reynolds, and Hughes dubbed themselves HRpeople. With the upcoming release of HRpeople's debut "…Becomes…" E.P. in late December, they seek to grow their fan base. To impulsively live and develop with time.

"Just get crazy" ~ Jordan Reynolds

Rhyme Progression

Boom-bapping his way out of Denver, Colorado, Rhyme Progression is a hip-hop emcee and producer in the prime of his grind. Rhyme Pro is often referred to as a mix of Atmosphere, Brother Ali, and Grieves. In 2009 Rob "Rhyme Progression" Fischer traveled to NYU to hone in on his musical abilities. While there he met up with many like-minded individuals that gave him a new insight on music. He learned the tricks to making raw underground hip-hop, from sampling records to introspective lyricism. Since the New York experience Rhyme Progression has managed to cause quite the regional buzz, doing well over 50 shows in 2011 from Colorado to South Dakota and even Montana. On stage he delivers an energetic, interactive show with DJ Blacksheep(Anthony Kunovic). In August of 2011 Rhyme Progression released his debut full-length album, All I Have is Music, which features Sapient of the Portland, OR based hip-hop group, Sandpeople. Since the release, the album has had international sales, as well as many downloads across the US. In the year 2012, Rhyme Progression plans to release a 2nd album and tour in support of it. Keep your eyes and ears out for this new, young, and fresh artist as he continues his conquest of the hip-hop genre.
