Isaac Friend is a singer/songwriter and drummer from Richmond, VA. He began his musical life as a drummer, saving up for his first kit at the age of 15. He then continued playing and studying his favorite drummers, teaching himself different techniques and styles that he would eventually mold into his own. He has played with dozens of bands and musicians over the years.

When Isaac was in his early twenties, he began to feel an increasing desire to express himself in a more melodic fashion, and thus began learning how to play guitar. He had been writing lyrics and poetry since he was young and was soon able to apply them to his own musical compositions. After compiling a handful of original songs and covers, Isaac began to play open mics around Richmond, and eventually found himself playing solo gigs and travelling out of town to perform.

He has since added the piano, ukulele, and harmonica to his instrumental repertoire.

He has always been somewhat reluctant to share his music due to its personal nature. However, he has grown a pair of balls and is now dishing out his tunes. Enjoy.
