OiAM Entertainment Presents: Overdoz
So Realistic, Crash Bandit, Jeary Sylves
Not your average Hip-Hop group, OVERDOZ. seamlessly leaps beyond ordinary measures. With a make up of two emcees in Sleezy and Tube, one natural-born comedian, Cream and a soulful vocalist/emcee in Kent, the group of four takes the idea of Hip-Hop/Funk Fusion to new heights with an eclectic mix of comic relief and true musicianship.
The home-grown Inglewood, California natives met in high school where a career in music was merely an afterthought. The budding teenagers would candidly chat about girls, music and cars amongst their occasional, “recreational activity.” Known to many as the Blunn!ts, OVERDOZ. gained a reputation for being frank and straight-forward at all times. Their adolescent conversations gradually became the blueprint for the story that is told in OVERDOZ' sophomore project, NOVA – released January 2010. The 25-track mixtape serves as the soundtrack to a story of four young adults who have grown together and share in a wide variety of experiences from sex, drugs and coming of age to the complexity of women and relationships.
OVERDOZ has worked with artists such as Dom Kennedy, Kendrick Lamar and more. You can find all the latest music from OVERDOZ on their bandcamp.

Brandon “Crash Bandit” Taylor (also known for past works under the moniker “Nayme Brand”), is a 25 year old song writer, producer and performing artist from Bakersfield, California. Spending part of his early childhood in Seattle, Washington before moving back to California, Crash excelled in elementary classes not only to receive A's and pompously finish before other classmates, but to have enough time to create comic books and write songs before recess arrived. He was introduced to producing and rapping in the 3rd grade when he and a longtime friend Chase “Cha Cha” Malone, now producer and song writing for Iconic Sounds/Sony ATV, recorded their first song in a studio owned by an established producer just for kicks. Since then Crash has had a craving to be artistic in every aspect of life, which has molded him into the artist he is today.
In April of 2012, Crash Bandit along with friend and producer Andrew "The Ref" Johnson debuted a collaborative album entitled The Grey, which could be found at Crashbandit.bandcamp.com. The album exemplifies fearless attempts to piece not only life together, but music as well; fusing Hip Hop with Rock 'N' Roll roll with a hint of Blues and other experimental aspects along the way. Crash focuses all of his energy on creating a timeless sound for those belonging to new and old generations who may be vexed with the current conditions. Whether you call it unusual or artistic, it is difficult to not be entertained by the works of Crash Bandit.
Creative artist, spokenword poet, rhyme sayer, & singer. Currently working towards the release of his latest project. 3rd mixtape and first to be released and promoted under the WaterColor Sounds Music Group Label which he founded in early 2011, as a means to create, produce & promote quality music. Also serves as a member of "Mars Blackmon".
