Julia's singles and demos, released on Soundcloud, earned her the attention of major culture blogs like Refinery 29 who wrote, “if we had things our way, she'd serenade us in Brooklyn every night. The two original soul tracks she's released are calming enough for your workday, but sexy enough to get kick you into nighttime mode. Julia, give us more, please."
Her upcoming EP, VictoryVitriol, will be out later this winter and represents Anrather's first complete release. The four tracks on VictoryVictriol are intimate, Morricone-esque songs performed in a laid back style that, as Jack Smart of Backstage writes, “walks that fine line between Lianne Le Havas and Bonnie Raitt. Casually sexy, reflective without dipping into sulky.”
GA Seated || Please note, there is a two drink minimum in the room.
