The New Music Series

This event was created to continue to pull together the scene here in Philadelphia. A scene that we all are proud to be a part of, dedicated to, and create within. Promoting the whole show, supporting all the bands/musicians, networking, and learning more about the people around you who share the same passion for music is what this night is all about. We appreciate each act sharing their music with us and putting their own stamp on the North Star's New Music Series.

Three-piece indie pop-rock group from Philadelphia, PA.

Rasputin's Secret Police

Brandon's blazingly beautiful vocal melodies juxtaposed with his deep, driving, dirty, guitar riffs all brought together with Josh's piston-like, heavy-as-hell drum beats and harmonies create a uniquely frightening, yet gorgeously melodic sound that has just begun to overthrow the Earth.

Their live shows often incorporate lighting effects, blood (real andfake), robes, talk of chalices, broken everything, smoke, jokes, barf bags and ear plugs. They are most definitely a sight to behold.
