"Plush are a new four-piece from San Francisco that play guitar driven pop music with angsty undertones. Their music harkens back to when SF had a thriving garage scene, but taps into the elements of shoegaze that a lot of newer bands have been experimenting with – overloaded guitars and reverberating bends. ... The band shares members with The She’s, so it’s no wonder I’m constantly struck by their vocal abilities, although I’m left wanting more of the male vocalist, who only makes a few appearances on the record. If dreamy ballads and reverb soaked guitar pop give you chills, Plush will satisfy all your needs." --Bay Bridged

Oakland's Tanukichan is Hannah Van Loon, formerly of Trails and Ways.

'Van Loon succeeds at combining that somber, deadpan brilliance we all love about guitar-heavy Stereolab cuts with shoegazey Wall-of-Sound in the vein of My Bloody Valentine. But what sets Tanukichan apart from a band like MBV is that her voice is at the center, and comes in loud and clear.' --Bay Bridged

Rayana Jay is a multi-talented singer and songwriter from Richmond, CA. At 22 years old, Rayana Jay creates forward-thinking R&B and alternative soul music, boasting soft vocals that contrast with honest lyrics about relationships, love, and friends. The Bay Area raised singer's influences span from the Organized Noize production crew and classic Bay Area sounds to the raw emotions of Amy Winehouse and the sultry tones of Anita Baker. Rayana began singing in the choir at ten years old and recorded her first professional song in the summer of 2012. She grew up with her grandmother, who introduced her to classic singers such as Johnny "Guitar" Watson, along with her mom who worked at a record label during the rise of rap in the 90s. Rayana Jay is currently preparing to release her debut album Sorry About Last Night.

' In her new video for "Come With Me," Oakland singer and rapper Siri bathes in blue and red light, her golds gleaming in the sun, as she sings, Travel through galaxies, with no plans/ With you, you, you, my thoughts expand. The track, and the Ash Alexander-directed visual, is a one-off from Siri, who has also released a new EP entitled GAWDBAWDY. On the 6-song project, Siri shows off her vocal versatility, effortlessly switching between affected singing and rapping, over instrumentals courtesy of Oakland producer Wax Roof.' --Fader
