Frank Cervantes, Hallelujah the Hills, Nicotine and Brown
2639 Poplar St
Philadelphia, PA, 19130
This event is 21 and over
Wailbone was founded in the summer of 2007 by drummer Adam Zielinski, lead guitarist Justin Van Daele, lead vocalist Steve Sereduk, bassist Brian Strumfels and rhythm guitarist Derrick Ludvickson with the intention of bringing a new sound to rock music. Through each musician's personal influences and style ranging from classic rock, funk and blues to dance music, punk and more experimental sounds, Wailbone has achieved a sound distinct from any other contemporary artist.
The bedroom in which Frank Cervantes grew up was a breeding ground for musical creativity. Frank and his friends would get together to jam, craft songs, and experiment in recording.
Several bands developed; Just Like Me, The Once Was, The Nice Guys. Within all of these groups Frank was giving the opportunity to experiment with different ways to develop songs, layer instruments, and design arrangements.
Eventually Frank grew out of the bedroom, and along with his friends they took their music into the cities that surround South Jersey. Frank played his first Philly show at the ripe age of 18. Since he has played all over the country on all kinds of stages.
Currently Frank is involved in an electronic collaboration with DJ Golden Spiral and Max Swan called The City Music Project.
He also performs as a solo artist, and has recently released a solo record titled "Forgotten Summer."

Hallelujah the Hills
The band's ensemble structure (cello, trumpet, and melodica) and learned lyricism echoes the stage-packing sounds of Arcade Fire, Danielson, Bright Eyes, and Decemberists, while its shambolic, maximalist barroom aura recalls Robert Pollard, another songwriter infrequently at a loss for words.
Nicotine and Brown
A three piece rock/funk/blues/jazz group from Beach Haven, NJ with influences such as John Coltrane, Wes Montgomery, Meters, Herbie Hancock, Jimi Hendrix, the Black Keys, Muddy Waters, and the Grateful Dead.
