Seamus Browning featuring Matt Duke

Seamus Browning featuring Matt Duke

It doesn’t seem all that long ago since high school friends Matt Duke (vocals/guitar), Sean Ferry (bass guitar), and Brendan Lafferty (drums) sat down at a booth in a local Philly diner and decided to pool their respective musical ambitions and form Seamus Browning. And while the band went on an indefinite hiatus after 2005, their reformation finds that few of those ambitions have changed as the band is readier than ever to forge ahead with an intensity and sound all their own. Drawing from myriad musical influences, the band’s unique style of alt-rock sits as comfortably with the indie and obscure as it does with pop and the mainstream. Important to note: when attending a Seamus Browning show, dancing shoes are highly recommended.

Frank Cervantes

The bedroom in which Frank Cervantes grew up was a breeding ground for musical creativity. Frank and his friends would get together to jam, craft songs, and experiment in recording.
Several bands developed; Just Like Me, The Once Was, The Nice Guys. Within all of these groups Frank was giving the opportunity to experiment with different ways to develop songs, layer instruments, and design arrangements.

Eventually Frank grew out of the bedroom, and along with his friends they took their music into the cities that surround South Jersey. Frank played his first Philly show at the ripe age of 18. Since he has played all over the country on all kinds of stages.

Currently Frank is involved in an electronic collaboration with DJ Golden Spiral and Max Swan called The City Music Project.

He also performs as a solo artist, and has recently released a solo record titled "Forgotten Summer."

Anjuli Dobson

Anjuli Dobson, a Canadian-born singer/songwriter now residing in Philadelphia, has been composing songs and bringing her guitar to parties for 8 years. Now, at 23, she spends her time walking her dogs, matching paint samples, bussing tables and ingesting as much caffeine as her central nervous system can handle. Even as her life continues to evolve in new directions, Anjuli is constantly chasing an elusive chord, that perfect line. To know her is to listen to her music, and to listen to her music is to witness the fierce longing and insistence best expressed in one of her own poems: "I won't have you believing the less complicated version of me." ..
