Julie Eigenberg, began her singing career in NYC, performing with such greats as George Duvivier, Vicki Sue Robinson, Moogy Klingman, the Brecker Bros., Leon Pendarvis , Anthony Jackson, and Will Lee, to name just a few.

Julie co-wrote the song, "Why Not!" with Michel Camilo ,and the Manhattan Transfer won the1983 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal of a Group with their Atlantic recording of "Why Not".

She went on to record her album,"Love is Starting Now", produced by David Spinozza. Julie is a soulful interpreter of classic Jazz standards and her own pop/Latin influenced genre. Her songs come from the heart and she sings with a confidence and style that has captured fans from around the world.

An Early Show with Julie Eigenberg and Yaron Gershovsky August 8, 2012 @ Drom NYC Julie and Gershovsky collaborate for a special show with some great Jazz classics along with original songs from Julie's recordings. She co- wrote "Why Not!", and Gershovsky did the arrangement, for which the Manhattan Transfer won the 1983 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal of a Group on Atlantic Records. Together with Dave Finck on bass, they bring to you Julie's soulful interpretations, with some swinging fun and jamming original songs from "Love is Starting Now" .
