KADY Z (Kady Zadora) knew music was prominent in her life at an early age. As the daughter of a singer/actress, the stage has always been a home to KADY Z. She has been singing and performing since she was 3 years old. Performing in numerous childhood shows, events and plays KADY Z found confidence on the stage. Undecided about chasing her dream or finishing school, KADY Z chose the latter but remained on stage, doing duets with her mother and keeping her passion for music lit. As soon as she came to the realization that music was her calling, she jumped in headfirst.
Her debut EP, "One Million Pieces" was co-written and produced by ToneDef (Green Day, Santana, Chris Isaak) to create KADY Z’s vision, "dance music with a soul". KADY Z set out to make music that will not only make you smile, but make you want to dance your heart out. Through the heart wrenching lyrics and lighthearted melodies, "One Million Pieces" gives you a taste of the different stages and landscapes of love. The goal of KADY Z and Tone’s collaboration was to produce a sound that was unique but still relatable.
KADY Z’s music is inspired by artists like Electropop Goddess Robyn and Glam Pop icon Gwen Stefani, both of whom embody feminism and originality in there music and style. “They are both so innovative
and fresh, doing everything to the last degree of perfection, I think that's what makes someone great. They are about the music and that separates them from the rest,” says KADY Z.
KADY Z's standout tracks on the EP include "Fun" a light hearted and wry spin on the phrase "he's just not that into you", ironically written about her best girlfriend, "Beautiful Disaster", a song about big love, and "One Million Pieces" referring to having your heart break into one million pieces. "Save me from yourself", is a song about feeling weak in the knees, and "Feel" a Robbie Williams cover, is about having the gift of life and discovering how to use it. These tracks create a journey through her brilliantly colored world where truth through music prevails....
