From northern California's coastal areas, from Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz into the San Francisco Bay Area, OMANI brings deeply hypnotic grooves with satisfying positive reggae vibes. Expect anything from inspirational roots, to lover’s rock, mixed with conscious thought provoking anthems, and sprinkled with a healthy dose of live dub.

Since 2007, Omani has been developing and growing and delivering a sincere sound with uplifting reggae music at clubs, festivals, and private events. Performing mostly original songs, as well as spontaneous improvisational dub jams, yet occasionally some shows also call for a tasty selection of cover songs by Dennis Brown, Tenor Saw, Bob Marley, and other nice features such as reggae versions of Steve Miller Band's "Fly Like An Eagle" and the Eagles "Hotel California".

Omani has shared the stage with many renown artists such as Don Carlos, The Itals, Edi Fitzroy, Winstrong, and Mystic Man, and has also performed at events with artists like Kymani Marley, Israel Vibration, Big Mountain, Prezident Brown, and many more.

Omani is the songwriting and recording project of singer and guitarist Phil Cumiskey. Live performances would not be possible without the incredible support of a dynamic live reggae band featuring great musicians such as Russdaman Vazquez on bass, Steve Sagrero on keys, and Randy Fard on drums, and with the occasional support of various other session players. Russ and Stevie have been a core part of the Omani experience for years.
