You Bred Raptors?
Scale of Six, Jessie Wagner & Envy, Cecilia Celeste, Swift Technique
Born somewhere between the Neolithic Era and the Industrial Revolution, this band of merry gentleman minstrel through the NYC subways with the Music Under New York Program. They also dropkick Woolly Mammoths and go bearbaiting with Polar Bears onefisted.
The trio comprised of Epileptic Peat on 8-String bass, Zach Schmidlein on drums and Bryan Wilson on cello aims to raise awareness about Dinosaur cloning research. New album "Hammond" came out in February 2012. Thanks for the support and hold on to your butt.
Scale of Six is a new rock band playing around and about New York City. With just a kiss of the funk, our mission is to find your butt and make it shake.
Envy is 5 piece hard rock band from New York City. Their sound is honest, tough, and pure. Envy is the real deal. See and hear for yourself.
Lead by the aggressive vocals of Jessie Wagner, Envy blasts a sexy, original rock and roll sound. With hard hitting beats, writhing guitar riffs, and savagely intoxicating bass lines, Envy created a hybrid of hard rock and sultry soul that is ass kicking, exciting, and a breath of fresh air in today's humdrum music industry. Envy's recordings include a self-titled EP and their recently completed full length album, Handle It.
Cecilia Celeste is a ground breaking, 4 piece rock band from New York City. They have been building a serious buzz for the last two years and are a respectable force in the Tri State music scene. Their sound is honest, bluesy, and classic with a tight urban swagger that has earned them a contagious fan base in the North East underground.

History :
Cecilia Celeste was formed in the cold winter of 2009. In February 2009 they released “Screwtape” a 7 song independent EP. The EP quickly made an impression around the Tri-State area. The band began to showcase at popular NYC venues such as the Knitting Factory, Arlene’s Grocery, and the Mercury Lounge. In February 09, after seeing the band play a packed house at the legendary Bitter End in Greenwhich Village, producer Steve Wall (Norah Jones, Matisyahu, Michelle Ndegeocello) decided to produce some of the stand out tracks. The band and Wall worked together over the next couple months on a 5 song EP named “October Leaves” and a video for the single “So Much.” The EP features some friends of the band such as Randy Schrager (Scissor Sisters, Jessie Malin) and Jessie Wagner (Kid Rock, Chic). “October Leaves” was independently released in October of 2010 by the band through all major digital download stores. The album's success served as a major catalyst to bring Cecilia Celeste to the forefront of the Tri State area music scene, leading to bigger shows, videos, and an exponentially growing fan base.
Through out the winter of 2010/2011 the band continued to play live and won the Hard Rock Cafe's Ambassadors of Rock Battle of the Bands in Times Square for the New York City Finals, making them 1 of 7 finalists through out the country, and number 1 in NYC. All the while they continued to write more songs together, and dynamically refine their sound. In March of 2011 they started recording the new material with producer Wayne Dorell of the Pigeon Club Records in Hoboken, NJ (Medeski Martin & Wood, Val Emmich, Tonic.) By May of 2011 they released 4 songs from those sessions in an LP titled "Underwater" independently through digital distributors.
Cecilia Celeste continues to grind local hot spots through out the NYC area and is planing a national tour in early 2012 in the support of the release of their full length record "Re Session."
While Swift Technique draws from all world influences, their genre is uniquely Philadelphia. The idea of combining traditional jazz and funk with hip-hop seems almost too obvious, but artists are not pushing the boundaries. The music scene needs sincere, soulful performers that audiences of all age, race and background can enjoy collectively. By combining old influences with young, raw energy, Swift Technique is the collaboration of six souls on a mission to flip the music scene upside down.
