Control for Smilers is Philly’s premier Phish tribute band, serving up an eclectic mix of driving rock and funk grooves to audiences in the tri-state area. Matt Agostini (Bass/Vocals) and Matt Elberson (Percussion/Vocals) lay down dance-friendly, funk-heavy grooves as Henry McGuigan (Guitars/Vocals) prays at the altar of Trey Anastasio’s signature guitar tone, all the while bringing his own hard rock edge to each jam. Brad Lukach (Keyboards/Vocals) seasons each tune by channeling his own interpretation of Page McConnell’s famous sounds and techniques. When the lights go down and the first note is struck, Control for Smilers fills dance floors with Phish fans and non-Phish fans alike.
Igor's Egg started with a dream, a world-scape unfolding through music. While musical storytelling has existed for thousands of years, Igor's Egg has put their own spin on an age-old tradition by combining music and comics with their own science- fiction world, Amaris.
Igor’s Egg produced their first album, "The Ultimate Tuh" in 2008. In August 2011, they released “Landscapes” an EP prelude for their upcoming album/comic trilogy, “Revolutions”, scheduled for release summer 2012.Igor's Egg is a 5-piece rock ensemble who makes their concept come alive on stage, their music incorporates classic and modern styles in a cinematic exploration of sound and story. The band consists of Keyboards, Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Violin with male and female vocals.
