Watch & Listen
Rovnik is an American alternative rock band from New York City, formed in 2010. Their music is a collection of soulful and reflective songs.
Shara is best classified as a pop/soul singer, and she has already gained fans from all over the world. Shara's music is completely organic and from the soul and she's set to take her place amongst the great vocalists of our time, and that is a much needed void in today's music industry!
Shara has been singing and acting since really early on (child performer) and have had a level of great times and success in theater, TV, and film. She went to NYU Tisch School of the Arts, majored in theater, graduated and ended up in the music business (where she finally found true love). All independently, she recorded and wrote a complete 12 song demo that got listened to by the president of a major label in NYC. It was there that her luck began to change and destiny began to take shape!
Shara was given the opportunity to work with hit songwriter and producer Andrea Martin (she wrote Leona Lewis's "Better in Time" En Vouge's "Don't Let Go", and tons of other amazing songs). They worked a few months on a radio quality sounding demo. Please help create the "buzz" and spread the love. So, if you are a fan of GOOD music, that comes straight from the gut, and a fan a REAL music, live instrumentation and powerhouse vocals, please become a fan. As a fan, you will be the first to know when Shara is performing and other important going ons!
Some of Shara's bigger shows have been at the Apollo, where she sang to a standing ovation. She also opened for Pat Benatar. The winner of the largest internet competition on the web, famecast.com, Shara became "pop fenom season 2", where she was flown to compete in Austin and won the title Pop Fenom. A true triple threat, Shara is also a SAG and Equity actress, and has appeared in "Hitch", and "The Interpreter" amongst many television shows like "Gossip Girl" and "Law and Order". Thanks for reading and thanks for joining! You are the reason she is so driven to break through.
Mad For Justice
Original high-energy rock combined with edgy funk groove. Performing live in New York City.
Phil and Billy have been performing together with R&B/funk band Soulshine for the past two years at music venues all over NYC to great audience response. With Mad for Justice, their signature blend of rock/funk/soul is further expanded by the diverse influences and experiences of the other band members. Madison is a rock singer from Tennessee. Justice is from Brooklyn and has been performing with rock/funk/soul groups in NYC. Jon has played with numerous rock and blues bands on the East Coast. And New Jersey-born Shannon has been singing with bands in NYC for some time.
Guitarist Phil Reeves and bassist/vocalist Billy Asai have formed an original modern rock group – Mad for Justice. Combining high-energy rock with edgy funk rhythms, Mad for Justice is ready to unveil its sound on the NYC music scene. The group is fronted by vocalist Madison Jone and vocalist Justice L. Vocal harmonies are rounded out by Shannon Pie. The instrumental nucleus of the group consists of Phil (guitar), Billy (bass & vocals), and powerhouse drummer Jon Weiswasser.
Mad for Justice’s original songs rock out to get you singing along, and drop down into a funky groove to get your dancing feet on the floor. And they play new interpretations of some classic rock and funk songs you will definitely recognize.
Tim and Bobby make up the acoustic rock group, Backyard Heroes. Beginning in the old days in the backyard, following a life long journey of epic proportions leading them to teaming up stronger than ever sharing their stories through music. Tales of being a kid, of growing up, love, loss, cancer, and survival. They invite you to tag along with them on their adventure.
