New York via Tucson singer/songwriter David D’Alessio draws frequent comparisons to other current icons in his genre-- the "Jack Johnson of the Southwest"; a voice with the "plaintive heights of Damien Rice"; "tenor reminiscent of Duncan Sheik." But by any standards, his 2007 solo release “Songs to Undress Your Ego” establishes him as a unique talent in his own right.
