Watch & Listen
Claiming musical and lyrical influences from such acts as Guided by Voices, Wire, They Might Be Giants, and John Prine, Brooklyn's Igloos have been slapping awkwardcore power pop party music into your amazing head since the year 200X. An Igloos show is a celebration of silliness, featuring good-time tunes played with muscle underneath aggressively goofy lyrics, and accompanied by their own trademark brand of conversation with the audience. Igloos are Matt Brewster, Nate Kushner, Ashley Martin, and Alex White. They're a band!
A Little Affair
Having recently graduated, Ben Hughes, Ryan Buzby, and Tom Cochran found themselves transplanted into an economic depression and a sour job market. Determined not to let a few bad bankers give them the blues, the trio chose to chase their rock n' roll dreams. Between odd jobs and substitute teaching, Hughes articulated his desires and frustrations with society, relationships, and religion through song. Together, Hughes and Cochran join Buzby in his farmhouse studio to record their newest self-titled album showcasing their simply accessible indie rock.
For Lack Of A Better Term
this band was honestly started because of a desire by one of our memebers to bring the same amount of joy and excitement to concert goers that big bands like the Foo Fighters bring by being in love with music. fuck the whole deep deep passion and undying love for the arts, we play music becuase that shit is fucking fun and we love doing it. obviously every musician begins playing because of a latent desire to be a rockstar, we'd be lying if we said that we are any different, but we love playing whether to a crowd of 10, or a crowd of noone and even though we know superstardom is rarer than hitting the lottery, we're gonna keep playing because we just enjoy playing, and hope that our love takes us somewhere in the future.
