Baby Dee

"Baby Dee's musical career has seen her perform worldwide with musical connoisseurs such as Will Oldham (who co-produced Safe Inside the Day with Matt Sweeney), Antony Hegarty, Marc Almond, Alex Neilson and David Tibet. When not performing across the globe Dee resides in Cleveland with her many cats, harp and of course, Andrew W.K.'s Steinway D.

Baby Dee is back with a new album, Regifted Light, produced this time by her great fan and friend Andrew W.K. at her home in Cleveland. The album features cello, tuned percussion, and pump organs as well as touches of brass and woodwind from Mucca Pazza's Mark Messing. The
record tends towards bright, bouncing classical music, only then to twist back into a quartet."

Tall City

"Before he became the keyboardist of the Nicotine Fits, Chris Bullock performed around the Front Range as Tall City. Part musical project, part literary vehicle, Soft Sunlight is a typical Tall City release. Bullock has found a way to fit the cadences of his poetry into the context of what some might call indie pop akin to Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. In addition to the dulcet tones of Bullock's vocals, what pushes this group of songs beyond a specific genre is his use of autoharp rather than guitar to strike uniquely textured chords. While this is ultimately some kind of bedroom recording, it is one rich in imaginative execution."

Sara Century

"A musical persona that is as fascinatingly abrasive as Lydia Lunch, as creatively eccentric as the Fiery Furnaces and as delicately charming as Tracy Bonham. Century's imaginative universe, captured in song, is fraught with offhand heroics, soul-shaking anger and thorny vulnerability."
