Starting off with a brief stint as a duo, basically going as "Colin and Fox," "Box of Fox" or other stupid names involving "Fox" while playing gigs at coffee houses in West Chester, Foxtrot and the Get Down came to its current state after Colin Budny and Ryan Fox, both broke Philly Kids, were blessed enough to have a brilliant bassist from Havertown, Ken Bianco, plopped on their dorm room floor hallfway through their freshman year at West Chester University. With a diverse background of influences, from Fox's Phissy Jazz, to Ken's Funky Reggae, to Colin's Delta Blues and Rap, the boys of Foxtrot have worked their asses off to create a sound that brings all of this mess together to create the love known today as Foxtrot and the Get Down.
