The Aesthetic
Adora, The Rails, Marisolyterra, The Fireside Silhouettes

It's in their appearance, their music and their name, Adora is the hottest new band to hit Chicago. With a classy but sharp sound, their fast tunes push and pull into orchestrated romantic ballads that tap their way like cabaret punk. Under the dark however, lies three talented individuals, who offer more than just a poppy sound. Stormie Radtke lead vocalist, has a knockout of a voice and a beauty that is absolutely exquisite. Keith Pink talks music like passion fuels love, and Chris Eckstrum drives the band to their future like he handles those drums. Adora which originates from the French term for love, just seemed to be the perfect fit that united this trio into perfect harmony. Now under late nights at their chocolate factory rehearsal space, they prepare to debut at the House of Blues on Sept 4th, 2010 for the first time.
For about four years Keith and Chris jammed together until the day they were ready to break some boundaries. Rehearsal after rehearsal, auditions after auditions, when they couldn't find their guy, they actually stumbled upon the perfect girl. Storm who started off as an acoustic singer was the missing link to their music, she was the final piece to this triangle. Setting the mood for inspiration, they write almost all their work in the dark, Storm who writes the majority of the lyrics taps into her emotional status of the day and creates deep metaphors that are not so easy to decipher. With their perfect and synced mindset the band is hoping to complete its trio with a fourth, (guitarist) if and only when they have found their perfect match.
With hopes to take their music to another level, the band will complete its next EP soon, and take on a more experimental approach. Hoping to gain some tour time, they have stopped their tracks on other projects to pursue their music full time. Ready to get on that ride to stardom, they will definitely try and keep in touch with their fans through it all. But today is their time to shine, and what began four years ago when Keith stood at his first concert next to Chris at the House of Blues, seemed to be to good to be true. Now he will stand next to Keith and Storm on the top of the stage, playing his destiny and theirs for us all. Join TRM at the debut show on Sat. Sept 4th, 2010 while you can, because I have a feeling these guys will not be in town much too long after.
