Heather Combs

Heather Combs, a Gainesville, Florida native now living in California, is a powerhouse on stage. Fresh off the heels of winning an honorable mention in the USA Songwriting Contest and being a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, Heather is getting the band back on stage.

In her ten+ year career, she shared the stage with many fantastic musicians such as Tom Petty, Steve Earle, Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Kasey Chambers, Todd Snider, Los Lobos and the Go-Gos. Heather’s songs have been featured in hit TV shows such as ER and Grey’s Anatomy. She is fiery, funny, intense and not afraid to take risks. Having been named “Best Band in the Bay” by San Francisco Magazine twice and a part of KFOG’s Local Scene CD, Heather thrives on connecting with the audience.

Her voice is sweet and then rough, strong and then vulnerable, but always honest and true. She plays guitar with reckless abandon and isn't afraid to show the listener who she really is. Give her a chance, and she'll win your heart with her words, her songs, her voice.

Music audiences around the world have seen and heard Janet Robin's incredible guitar work as a former featured touring member of the Lindsey Buckingham Band (Fleetwood Mac), Meredith Brooks Band and most recently Air Supply. Her abilities as a guitarist have garnered the admiration of many in the music industry including Michelle Shocked who called Robin "one of the best guitarists in the U.S. – male or female." She has shared the stage most recently with the likes of Midge Ure (Ultravox), Colin Hay (Men At Work) and Monte Montgomery.

With the help of her dedicated fan base, Robin was able to raise the funds for her latest studio effort, Everything Has Changed. This loyal support enabled her to team up with producer John Carter Cash (Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band) at Cash Cabin Studios outside of Nashville. Having already self-released four solo records, this new album from the talented songwriter bridges the gap between passionate acoustic music and gutsy rock n' roll. The ten-track collection showcases the stunning range of this gifted songwriter, singer and guitarist and includes a co-write with Maia Sharp (Dixie Chicks, Bonnie Raitt, Trisha Yearwood).

Introduced to Hypertension Music by friend Colin Hay, Robin recently signed a European licensing and booking deal with the German company who released Everything Has Changed in January 2010. Ever the road warrior, Robin plays upwards of 150 shows per year, focusing on the East Coast, West Coast and Europe.

In addition to being an artist, Robin is also a respected clinician for Line 6 and is endorsed by Taylor Guitars, Fender Guitars, Seymour Duncan and Alfred Publishing among others.
