Pauly Shore - Pauly-tics
Pauly-tics is a 60-90 minute Showtime Networks special that will air in October/November and stars Pauly Shore in a LIVE stand up performance with other political comedians and celebrities featured.
Pauly-tics is a fun, playful format with a live DJ who will banter with Pauly. Pauly and other comics will be on the main stage performing their own form of political material. One of the segments of the live performances will be a professional moderator working with Pauly as if he were running for President. Another element on the special will be Pauly doing a roundtable, subject TBA.
The special will also have pre-taped packages that will be intercut in 3-5 minute increments throughout the special and will show Pauly doing very simple walk and talks with famous politicians, news anchors, political pundits, and lobbyists. Overall, Paulty-tics will be an entertaining, upbeat special, with no pranks.
Godfrey is one of the hottest comedians on the circuit performing all over the country and hitting all the major festivals. Godfrey has a recurring role on FX’s hit show "Louie," and has credits that include "30 Rock," "Soul Plane," "Chelsea Lately," "Zoolander," and many more.
Rachel Feinstein was a finalist on Season 7 of Last Comic Standing, and has been featured on Russell Simmon's Presents, TBS's Just For Laughs series, and Comics Unleashed. Rachel has voiced various characters on Adult Swim's "Venture Brothers," the animated Comedy Central web series, "Samurai Love God" and Spike TV's web series "Battle Pope." She will be releasing her first Comedy CD on Comedy Central records in 2011.
Having exhausted himself and others by faking it all his life as, good son living according to the expectations of his conservative family in India, a nerdy graduate of The London School of Economics, a buttoned up corporate executive in blue chip companies, a flaming gay fashionista in NYC, an angry brown person horrified by being mistaken as a terrorist. He finally decided to overcome his neuroses, contradictions and demonic fears, to become a brutally honest stand up comedian who is not afraid of speaking the truth and putting himself on the line.
