Never Blue Avenue started in 2008 with just four guys in a small town just wanting to play music. Meeting each other through different bands Mark Loeber (guitar) and Josh Higgins (vocals/guitar) played together in a band called To End October. Then, To End October broke up in late 2007, but Mark and Josh wanted to continue to play music together. So many phone calls later they hooked up with Mike Ellis (bass) and Shaq Golden(drums) in early 2008. Together the band played shows to little coffee "shacks" and even a few local headlining shows. Bands that have influenced NBA's style of music include Anberlin, Jimmy Eat World, Circa Survive and Hillsong United. They strive to be different than most bands by having a mix of a few different styles of music to sets them apart from their peers.
