Scream It Like You Mean It Tour

Attack Attack! is an American metalcore band from Westerville, Ohio, formed in 2005. Attack Attack!'s first release, an independent EP titled If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords?, was released in 2008, which led to the signing of the band to Rise Records the same year. They then released their two full-length albums, Someday Came Suddenly and a self-titled album both through Rise. A third album entitled This Means War was released on January 17, 2012, also through Rise. The band has since parted ways with Rise and is currently unsigned.

We Came As Romans

We Came as Romans is an American post-hardcore band from Troy, Michigan, that was formed in 2005. They have released two EPs and one full length album. Their debut album To Plant a Seed was released on November 3, 2009. We Came as Romans has toured across the U.S. with bands such as The Chariot and have done work with Tyler "Telle" Smith, former member of the bands Greeley Estates and In Fear and Faith, and current vocalist for The Word Alive. In April 2009 they signed with Equal Vision Records.

The Acacia Strain

It can be said that some bands truly embody a certain spirit or emotion. Without a doubt, Massachusetts' long running juggernauts, THE ACACIA STRAIN, truly embody anger. And that shows more than ever on their newest full length, "Wormwood." The band's actual sound and vibe are more ferocious than ever on this, their fourth full length for Prosthetic Records and fifth effort overall. Even the successes of their previous full-length, "Continent," which debuted at #2 on Billboard's "Heatseekers" chart in 2008 and their DVD, "The Most Known Unknown," which debuted at #10 on Billboard's Top Video Sales Chart in the February of its release, have not assuaged front man and lyricist Vincent Bennett's turmoil. For "Wormwood," the band returned to the scene of the creation of "Continent;" producer Zeus' of Planet Z Studio in Hadley, MA, who has previously worked with the likes of Hatebreed, The Red Chord, All That Remains and more, engineered, mixed and mastered the slab of vitriol. This time around, we find guitarist, D.L. experimenting with 8 string guitars, adding further depth and low end to the band's already stomach-turning low end sound. "Wormwood" peaked at #67 on the U.S. Billboard charts, signaling metal fans' increasing affinity for the band's sheer musical passion and vicious brand of heaviness. The band appeared on last year's "Cool Tour" with As I Lay Dying, Underoath, Between the Buried And Me, Blessthefall, Architects, Cancer Bats and War of Ages. The band's extensive tour history has them on the road with acts such as Whitechapel, Unearth, Bleeding Through, Killswitch Engage, Despised Icon and August Burns Red. They have also appeared on The Sounds of the Underground Tour and will be a must-see addition to this summer's Vans Warped Tour. THE ACACIA STRAIN were formed in 2002 in Western Massachusetts, and have gone through a variety of line ups, even, at one point having three guitars, but have played in their current incarnation since 2006. That line up consists of vocalist Vincent Bennett, bassist Jack Strong, guitarist Daniel "DL" Laskeiwitz and drummer Kevin Boutot.

Abandon All Ships

Completely turning the modern music scene upside down with their unique mix of hardcore, euro and dance, Abandon All Ships spent 2009 heavily touring North America on the release of their self-titled/self released debut EP. The band didn't slow down in 2010, recording their debut full length 'Geeving' in between tours with Protest The Hero, & A Skylit Drive. Releasing their first single 'Take One Last Breath' in June, the band hit the road again with Drop Dead Gorgeous. Gearing up for the release of the album, the band released the single 'Megawacko2.0' and went on a full US tour with We Came As Romans.

On October 5th the highly anticipated full length Geeving was released and debuted at #27 on Billboard. The band launched the record with a coast-to-coast headline tour of Canada, following that tour with another full US tour supporting Miss May I.

With a 3rd video down the pipe for the title track "Geeving", Abandon All Ships show no signs of slowing down in 2011.

"Originally formed in 2006 as a grindcore band by guitarist Jeremy Carroll, Chicago's Oceano went through a revolving cast of players until settling on a new lineup and a new sound in 2007. The final lineup, consisting of Andrew Mikhail (guitar), Danny Terchin (drums), Adam Warren (vocals), and Kevin Colabuono (bass), would go on to develop the group's current sound. Pushing the limits of extreme music and influenced by Behemoth and the Acacia Strain, the band transitioned into a heavier, more technical death metal sound. This change was helped along by adopting the severely detuned "dropped A" from one of Mikhail's past bands, creating a guitar sound that was as thick and murky as Warren's anguished growls. In 2008, the band signed to Earache Records, and began a heavy touring schedule. That year also saw the departure of Carroll and Colabuono and the arrival of bassist Jason Jones. In 2009, the band released its full-length debut, Depths, on Earache Records." - AllMusicGuide

Impending Doom

Impending Doom is an American Metal band from Riverside, California. Formed in 2005, jumped right into the touring lifestyle and gained their success very quickly. The band has released 1 e.p. and 3 full length records, selling over 80,000 records world wide. Signed by Facedown Records from 2007-2010. In 2011 the band signed a deal with eOne Records. In Fear And Faith

Epic. Can it be a genre? Fans of In Fear and Faith certainly believe so. Calling beautiful San Diego their home, In Fear and Faith is one of the most explosive and intense bands to burst onto the scene. Combining powerful guitars, dynamic keys and electronics with the perfect blend of harmonious singing and brutal screaming, In Fear and Faith is set to leave their mark on the post hardcore/screamo scene. Joining forces with Rise Records, watch for their debut full length "Your World on Fire" coming out January 6th, 2009. The album features guest vocals by Craig from Chiodos & Jeremy from A Day to Remember.

Defying any definitions of age, Ephrata, P.A.'s Texas in July have already toured the country and back, sharing stages with everyone from The Devil Wears Prada and Every Time I Die to August Burns Red and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster – all before the entire band had graduated from high school.

With the two youngest members walking across the graduation stage this year, Texas in July are about to charge headfirst into living out their dreams full-time. Vocalist Alex Good explains, "Now that we've finished high school, we plan to tour as much as humanly possible. We are so stoked on seeing the world and meeting new people everywhere we go."

The band is comprised of Good, Logan Maurer (guitar), Ben Witkowski (bass), Adam Gray (drums) and Christian Royer (guitar). By balancing their sensitive expressions of faith with some of metalcore's most ferocious and in-your-face vocals and breakdowns, the band is well on their way to making a name for themselves and to putting small-town-Pennsylvania on the map!
In just three years since their inception, Texas in July have already built up a community of diehard fans around the world - most notably in their hometown, where they pack The Chameleon Club. In 2008, the digital-only release of their debut EP, Salt of the Earth, introduced listeners to their signature sound of heavy, groove-oriented metalcore.

The EP sparked such impressive digital sales, that it was later released as a physical CD that was distributed nationwide through Hot Topic and snatched up by the masses at the band's merch table. Salt of the Earth led to packed tour dates and provided the perfect preview of what was to come on their debut full-length album, I Am.

Released in September of 2009 on CI Records, I Am is a true testament to the band's passion, intensity and musicianship. Royer states, "We want our fans to love our music and look at it to its fullest. From our lyrics to our breakdowns, we hope everyone can relate to it one way or the other." From the brutal churning rhythms of "Elements" to the relentless intensity of "Satellites" (featuring Gwen Stacy vocalist Geoff Jenkins), the album displays Texas in July's musical maturity while simultaneously showcasing their impressive songwriting and technical talents.

Never wanting to settle on what they've already achieved, the band is already looking forward to their next release. Witkowki explains, "I Am has put our feet in the water, as far as the music industry goes, but we hope to take our sound to even greater heights on our upcoming full-length." Gray elaborates, "We feel that our music has already progressed a lot and will reach out to a greater base of people. We're really looking forward to further developing it and sharing it with new audiences."

Texas in July will certainly have the opportunity to reach new audiences as they have already begun an impressive, non-stop tour schedule that will carry them all across the United States, Canada and Europe. The band will then head back into the studio, where they will write and record a new album on Equal Vision Records. Maurer reflects on their current and future plans stating, "…we just hope to never feel as if we have arrived. We always feel that there is something more for us to achieve and another step to take."

Hailing from sunny San Diego, CA, SECRETS has already made an impact as one of the most promising up and coming acts in the scene. Armed with irresistibly catchy choruses, soaring vocals, and mercilessly dynamic breakdowns, its no wonder the post-hardcore five-piece has seen such success since signing to Velocity/Rise Records in the Spring of 2011.

Velocity Records' Dave Shapiro says, "When I heard these songs, I knew San Diego had yet another band that would be at the forefront of their genre." Rise Records' founder Craig Ericson is equally pumped on the signing, explaining, "Dave showed me the band and I immediately knew these guys were keepers."

SECRETS released their debut full length The Ascent (Produced by Tom Denney) in January of 2012 to rave reviews. The record debuted at #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and became the first Velocity Records release to crack the Billboard Top 200, debuting at #185. SECRETS will be touring heavily this Spring in support of the release, hitting the road with Sleeping With Sirens in March and April and then jumping right into the "This World Is Ours" tour in April and May with heavy hitters Attack Attack! and Escape The Fate.

Like Moths to Flames

"Emerging from Dayton, Ohio in 2010, Like Moths to Flames hit the ground running from their inception and haven't had the time to look back. The band came together after singer Chris Roetter (formerly of Agraceful and Emarosa) and bassist Aaron Evans (of TerraFirma) decided to collaborate after their respective bands had broken up. Not wasting any time, the two recruited guitarists Zach Huston and Eli Ford and drummer Lance Greenfield, and by the end of the year the band had signed to Rise Records and released its Sweet Talker EP. In 2011, the band made its full-length debut on Rise with When We Don't Exist, which found the fledgling metalcore outfit breaking onto the Billboard Heatseekers chart with its bludgeoning, breakdown-heavy sound." – AllMusicGuide

For All Those Sleeping

"Storming out of St Cloud, MN, armed with a blend of pop, hardcore and a killer live show, For All Those Sleeping is ready to give the scene a serious wake up call. Mike Champa (vocals), Jerad Pierskalla (guitar/vocals), David Volgman-Stevens (guitar) and Ethan Trekell (drums) met in high school, and formed For All Those Sleeping in 2007 after gaining London Snetsinger on bass. The band has already wowed audiences on tour throughout the Midwest, and is now ready to take their sound global, having just signed a deal with Fearless Records.

Close to Home

After years of touring the country and two self-released EPs under their belt, Close to Home are more than ready to release their debut full length, Never Back Down—and tell the story of what they've been through. Their Artery Recordings debut this February is the next instance of many things that have come together perfectly for the Cincinnati, OH band.
Despite a few struggles at the start, lately things have been constantly looking up for Close to Home, thanks to their mantra that is now the album name. Heading into recording, the band hooked up with Tom Denney (formerly of A Day To Remember) to record demos, and the group instantly clicked—Denney signed on to produce. Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, The Word Alive) was brought in to mix the album, and shortly after Close to Home signed to Artery Recordings. "Having this team together was literally a dream come true for us," said guitarist Josh Wells. It also helped the band create and develop their vision for the album, with Wells adding "It's basically the summary of our lives and who we are in pursuit of our dreams."
Never Back Down is the culmination of the past few years for Close to Home, and their mission for 2011 and beyond.

Glass Cloud

After years of touring and performing around the world with various bands, vocalist Jerry Roush finally has a band to call his own. The former frontman for Sky Eats Airplane and Of Mice & Men has joined forces with 8-string guitarist Joshua Travis [The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza], bassist Travis Sykes and drummer Chad Hasty to create Glass Cloud.

The Hampton, VA-based band is currently in San Diego, CA recording their debut full-length album at Lambesis Studios, with Joshua Travis also serving as producer. Glass Cloud will release the full-length album in late Spring/early Summer 2012 through Equal Vision Records.

Musically, Glass Cloud offers a sense of controlled chaos fueled by Roush's deep, ferocious growls and distinct, gritty cleans. Travis' phenomenal guitarwork and ability to constantly surprise listeners stands out as he displays the perfect balance between energetic, driving intricacies and calmer progressions that carry a dark, eerie tone. Sykes and Hasty, graduates of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, rule the rhythm section contributing unique cadences and swinging, jazzy grooves interlaced with softer symphonic touches. Glass Cloud shines as the members deliver some of their heaviest and most technical compositions to date.

Excitement and enthusiasm simply radiates out of the band as they discuss working together in the studio and developing a sound that is all their own. "The collective musicianship and talent level in this band is unbelievable," explains Travis. "…and to top it off, the guys are all down-to-earth people too. Working on this record has been a lot of fun. We are trying to introduce something organic and ambient into heavy music. Not the typical breakdown heavy, but darker chords upon layers and layers."

Roush also boasts unabashedly about the remarkable caliber of musical proficiency within the band, and specifically about the creative connection between himself and Travis stating, "From the moment he became involved in this band, he was sending me fully finished tracks left and right, songs that were blowing my mind. Musically, Josh is a beast…the dude is a musical machine. We meshed so well, right from the start, making tracks that had no limits to them. I couldn't have asked for a better and more prolific guitarist to accompany me in this new musical endeavor. And with Josh being the producer of the debut Glass Cloud record, we know that we are making the exact album that we want to make."

"We have been working intensely in the studio, but it will definitely pay off when we introduce something new and fresh to the scene," Travis concludes. "I don't think I could be more excited about a project." Glass Cloud will spend 2012 on the road supporting their forthcoming album, with tour dates to be announced soon.

Hands Like Houses

Hands Like Houses are a fresh and explosive 6 piece from Canberra, Australia. With a rapidly expanding international fanbase, the band has captivated audiences with their electric blend of technical, effects- heavy songwriting with post-hardcore passion and stage presence. Driven by rich lyricism and melodic, emotive vocals in the vein of Emarosa and The Getaway Plan, the band presents a complex and finely crafted mix of guitar and electronics, drawing from a broad range of influence including Thrice, The Receiving End of Sirens and Closure in Moscow.

The closing of 2011 saw the band sign to American record label Rise Records, with their highly anticipated debut album 'Ground Dweller' subsequently announced to be released worldwide on March 13th.

HLH traveled to the USA in 2010 and 2011 to record 'Ground Dweller' with Cameron Mizell of Chango Studios (Woe, Is Me, Sleeping With Sirens, Oceana). The subsequent single releases, 'This Ain't No Place For Animals', and ʻLion Skin (feat. Tyler Carter and Jonny Craig)' earned the band over 5,000 independent single sales via iTunes during 2011, and their most recent single 'Antarctica', released on Youtube through Rise Records, has amassed almost 200,000 views in its first month. Along with the band's self-produced acoustic versions of 'Lion Skin' and ʻThe Sowerʼ, their YouTube channels have seen over three quarters of a million views, growing daily.

Boasting a dedicated and fast-growing international fanbase, built through years of personally managing their social networks and independent promotion and touring, Hands Like Houses will release their hotly anticipated debut album 'Ground Dweller' on March 9th in Australia (March 13th worldwide through Rise Records). Buoyed by exceptional online pre-order numbers for a debut release, the record is well on track to break into the Billboard Top 200 and Heatseeker charts in the US in its first week.

To date, the band has supported a number of notable acts from Australia and around the world, including The Getup Kids (USA), As Tall As Lions (USA), The Getaway Plan (AUS), Dream On Dreamer (AUS), Break Even (AUS), Hopes Die Last (ITA) and Tonight Alive (AUS). Their 2011 touring schedule saw the band play 50+ shows across Australia and Europe, impressing audiences with a sound and stage presence beyond their standing.

Since forming in 2006 between high school friends, the band has evolved and grown to a dedicated and close-knit group. As So Long Safety, the band was nominated for 2 MusicOz awards in 2008, in the Schoolies and Music Video categories. Their singles 'Lion Skin' and 'Antarctica' have seen weekly rotation on Triple J, Australia's largest alternative radio station, as well as regular play on local and internet stations including Western Australia's The Pit FM.

2012 will see Hands Like Houses add to their list of local, national and international supports, beginning with Pushover 2012 in Melbourne Australia in support of Parkway Drive, Tonight Alive, 360 and others, before embarking on their first leg of US touring in the northern Spring/Summer to promote the release of 'Ground Dweller'.
