Brundle Fly
Brundle Fly was the brainchild of two punks, Matt Kaufman and Jack Einhorn. It quickly grew into a four-piece band, with Jeremy Lordan on vocals and Taj Reilly on the drums, Some time went on and some events unfolded, therefore Josh Salzer and Jennie Simonson were recruited to be the new guitar players. After our former bassist took a leave of absence, Jeremy was elected to pick up bass guitar duties. And. Welp. Here we are.
13 Lines CD Release Show
13 Lines converged in 2010 when school friends rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist Nik Rajagopal and Drummer Stone Mathers recruited their friends bassist Will Solmssen and the lead guitar prodigy Jae Hoon Choi. Only a month after coming together, the group started playing small shows in local venues. After a few months together, the band began to write their own original material. In June of 2011, Stone Mathers moved to Michigan. The band was rendered incomplete and began to frantically search for a new drummer, like a squirrel unprepared for winter. Due to differences in interest, bassist Will Solmssen also left the group. Jae Hoon and Nik continued to write and started to record, and continued to play acoustic shows. Like a peregrine falcon spying a rabbit from above, drummer, pianist and composer Adam Tuttle heard one of the band’s tracks through a friend and contacted them to join the band. Not long after, he was a part of 13 Lines. After playing with multiple new bassists, Ron Borisovsky completed the lineup, like a Russian joining a band of other minorities. 13 Lines signed with ATR Records in 2012 and released ‘All of This’ on ATR Compilation Vol. 1, which was produced by Usher’s producer, Ian Cross. Over the summer of 2012, the band continued to play live shows and record until, finally, the EP ‘Read Between the Lines’ was completed. The EP is due to be released on February 13, 2013, but is available on February 8th at the band’s record release show
