Teddy Midnight
Formed in Upstate New York at SUNY Oneonta, Teddy Midnight are four native New Yorkers headquartered in Brooklyn. Being bored with the jam and electronica scene upstate Teddy formed to bridge the gaps between EDM, Prog Rock, Jazz , Latin and Alternative. Teddy Midnight is about fusing the diverse influences each member brings to the table, while still being accessible with their own unique sound. Centering around interesting textures, dynamic and tempo changes, with a variety of time signatures. Although they are not a jam band Teddy Midnight is just likely to get you dancing to a deep drum and bass groove, as they are to make you feel like you are at a Sonic Youth show filled with shoe-gazers. They have opened for fellow Brooklynites Kitten Berry Crunch and Dopapod, as well as festival regulars Dirty Paris and Timbre Coup. They have just regrouped after a hiatus and are planning a series of shows in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and major cities in upstate new york.

Kakiat Park
Situated in the midst of the thriving city of New York, Kakiat Park, a four-piece band, performs Dance Funk Jam. The band formed in the distinguished Music Industry program at the State University of New York, Oneonta, has been busy building a catalog of original music, crafting an exciting live show, and creating an extensive marketing campaign to spread their music throughout the state.
Since the fall of 2008, Kakiat Park has produced a five song EP and an eight song full-length recording. Both titles are available on iTunes, Amazon, Napster, and Rhapsody. The band has pressed physical copies of their full-length recording, Siren, and has been able to sell them at local music shops including the Music Square in Oneonta, New York. Siren employs a diverse combination of musical styles, sewn together with catchy, pop-minded melodies. The project represents the band’s carefully refined vision developed after three years of playing throughout New York State. After playing the Live LIVE! Music and Arts Festival in the Spring of 2011 the band was forced to disband due to manditory internships that they needed to complete over the summer which made it near impossible to ever play again. (Hold back the tears...I know.) However in August of 2011 the memebers of Kakiat Park decided to keep the jams going and to once again, rage. Only this time the band was only a four-peice because guitarist Sam Spokony went on the path to becoming a skilled and sucessful writer and we wish him the best of luck! With the loss of a member, Kakiat Park needed to put Dave Schnurman on guitar as well as the band's primary vocalist. The band decided to create all new material and start fresh because with the loss of Sam, the songs just didn't seem right. The band collectively agreed to change the name from Kakiat Park to (TBD....its hard to pick a band name ok? It's like naming your first born!)
Since then for the past 7 months, the remaining four members have transformed their sound from what we call "Bluesy Jam Funk Rock" to "Dance Electronic Funk Jam." After a 10 month hiatus, the band played their first show since the LiveLIVE! Music and Arts Festival so they can brush up on their live show and prepare for theire future rage-dance shows in NYC as well as the surrounding buroughs.
