Watch & Listen

Wig Party's collective love of hair pieces and social gatherings brings them together as a band. The New Jersey based group thrives on stage, never playing the same show twice. Their energetic performances keep audiences on their feet and moving. The sounds of Wig Party are characterized by bursting hooks, humble harmonies and driving rhythms. They take an approach to songwriting that emphasizes bold innovation with vintage simplicity. From high-paced celebration anthems to murky earthly haunts, the band pours it all into their live performances.

In 2010, the members of Wig Party came together after playing in various groups since the early 2000's. Originally formed by long-time friends and collaborators Gregory J. Del Deo (Bass), Charles Kirby (Vocals), Ryan Quick (Drums), and Vincent Ventriglia (Guitar), in 2011 the group added Hank Rosenthal (Keyboards). The bands first album, Wig Party, was released in July 2010. Since then the band has progressed their sound and live performance, continuing to make new fans and friends along the way...

The Clox formed in Brooklyn, NY in 2007. The group was developed by Denis Orynbekov (vocals and lead guitar), Russell Bay(drums), Igor Reznik (Rhythm Guitar) and Alex Prokofyev (Bass). In Fall of 2009 quartet became a trio when Alex left the group, and Igor Reznik switched roles from playing rhythm guitar to playing the bass.

Stately Ghosts

Seemingly frozen in a time capsule since 1966, garage rockers Stately Ghosts have possessed the NYC indie scene with their paranormal brand of retro sounds.

British-born vocalist Abigail Carson learned to sing the blues the hard way, as street musician living off the gratuities she earned in Australia.
Now teamed up with several NYC veteran musicians she crafts tunes influenced by the 60's Chicago blues and garage rock sound.

Stately Ghosts have recently won the WBAI 99.5 FM Battle of the Bands and will be performing on the air Tuesday 4/26/2011 2pm. Other upcoming shows include Matchless, Arlene's Grocery and the 2011 Clearwater Festival.

A son of the Harlem Renaissance, King Aswad has graced the runways of NYC’s grungiest nightclubs and music venues with his skateboard and ubiquitous guitar. An accomplished singer, songwriter, composer and recording artist King Aswad’s musical prowess has been honed by Q-tip of pioneer hip hop group “A Tribe Called Quest” and molded internationally by performing in the Tony award winning Broadway musical “Rent” all over the United States, Canada and Japan.
In early 2009 King Aswad formed a diverse band with other multitalented, multicultural musicians and they began creating music together. Their various paths in life, many influences, and signature sounds were so unique that when fused together, a new genre of music was created: International Soul. Their fusion of R&B, Hip Hop, Rock & Roll, Gospel, and Classical music has attracted a following of fans from all walks of life who appreciate lead singer, King Aswad’s, incomparable ability to transition flawlessly from grungy hard rock vocals to belting smooth, sultry R&B melodies. The King of International Soul.
