Colonels of Truth and Gutter Swan - Private Parlor Show (($10 adv/$15 day of show))

Colonels of Truth

What started as a late night Easter Eve text conversation, most likely fueled by alcohol and the Holy Spirit of Charlton Heston’s Moses flashing across the TV screen, and culminating in a living room strewn with guitars and a small flask of whiskey tucked neatly behind a table leg, has officially evolved into Colonels of Truth.

Rick Santos of South Bay honky tonk heroes Longliner joined with Peter Dominguez, David Sands & Robert Scott Mueller of San Francisco’s cow punk outfit GEN 11 in an attempt to strip everything away and return to their acoustic roots.

Their brand of Northern California Country Folk Americana was captured on a 'live in studio' debut EP in late 2013. Since it's release Songs of Love, Blood & Redemption has received steady play on college, independent & community radio, as well as having two songs featured on FX Network's brilliantly twisted comedy Legit. The EP also earned CoT opening slots on national tour stops for Jon Dee Graham, Pert' Near Sandstone, Austin Jenckes, Cody Beebe & The Crooks and sets at The 38th annual San Francisco Free Folk Festival, NapaPorchfest and SFPorchfest I & II.

Gutter Swan

Based in San Francisco, Gutter Swan is an acoustic Americana duo performing songs of hope, longing, and the human condition.
