A Memory Down
In October 2008 Five guys got together to mix a blend of old, new, soft, hard and experimental strait up bad ass rock n roll. Day to day, Memory Down continues to play great shows, record and write new songs that reach people on different level. They stay true to their fans and friends that support them along the way. So join the movement, together we can melt the face off the world, one venue at a time.
Lost Point, is a band with unique style, power and strength. Finding success with the title of Clear Channel’s Best Band in Denver was just the beginning. After the release of their freshman album," All Dressed Up", success was a sure fire prelude. To headlining multiple sell-out shows, receiving national radio market testing, and full local radio play on Clear Channel stations, being hand-picked by Kevin Lyman for the Vans Warped Tour. After finding so much success, there was no other option than to follow-up their freshman release with a sophomore album that is stellar in every aspect. Taking a year off to focus exclusively on the creation of “Scars From Her”, Lost Point is ready to bring forth the hardest hitting, gut-punching and lyrically geared product possible. Currently, the band has been focusing their time behind closed doors on incorporating multiple influences from electrifying beats, alternative fusion, teeth-grinding metal, impulsive rock and unequivocal lyrical persuasion into a streamline balance of a sound that is all their own. Preparing for an Uprising in the National Music Scene is the path that is ahead of this steadfast band. With major tours, national sponsorships and leading label interest within the future of this band in 2011, Lost Point will surely find a permanent home in the National Music Scene. Keep your eyes open and ears ready for what’s to come…Lost Point will be back for the Regeneration starting 2011…and even though the name of the band is Lost Point, these boys know exactly where they are going.
ravity Lies is a brand new band poised to take the world by storm. Their infectious brand of hard rock has been capturing the ears of all who hear. The band strives to bring a unique sound that stands apart from the cookie-cutter bands on rock radio today. Thick textures, and layer upon layer of guitars create a powerful wall of sound topped by the band's strong melodies. Pop sensibilities, combined with a subtle progressive rock influence, and a dash of metal create a new combination of sound that is both catchy and heavy at the same time.
Lead Vocalist/Guitarist, Brian Knop has been writing material for the first record since before the conception of Gravity Lies. The first two singles, "Taking Advantage" and "Heaven Stops" have been posted for your enjoyment. "Heaven Stops" is also available as a Brian Knop single on iTunes. The record is approaching completion, with the finishing touching being put on ten songs that will form a magnificent rock opus.
Dissonance In Design
Zac Patuto - Drums
Sam Johnson - Vocals
Harrison Patuto - Guitar/Vocals
Cutting their respective Metal teeth at the not-so-tender ages of 12 and
14, DISSONANCE in DESIGN's (formerly Morbus Deus) core members re-invented themselves and evolved into a progressive/melodic/technical Metal wrecking ball. The band recently added accomplished front-man Sam Johnson (ex-Sunday Massacre) who brings energy and emotion to their already concussive attack.
Siphoning inspiration from such artists as Veil of Maya, The Faceless,
Protest the Hero, Between the Buried and Me, Within the Ruins, Animals as Leaders, and many others, DISSONANCE in DESIGN offers up an uncompromising amalgam of singular riffs and hypnotic grooves that will appeal to even the most discerning Metal palates.
Even those not-so-familiar with the Metal genre will find the music accessible, and infectious.
These young men employ an unrivaled strategy when creating their melodic mayhem: write songs that are far beyond their physical talents and capabilties, and practice/play them until they become an integral part of the DiD sonic arsenal. Technically precise execution, combined with visceral musical themes/lyrics translate to a commanding stage presence that leaves audiences transfixed... and wanting more.
Some intrinsic subject matter includes disdain for the government, self-introspection/healing, meaningful personal experiences, and the bane of worldwide religion. Some have gone so far as to label DISSONANCE in DESIGN as "Inspirational Metal"...
Ultimately, it's all about the music itself...so there will be no acquiescing to the mundane and contrived. Expect the unique...and the unexpected...
Song-writing is the core of the Nemesys strategy into the hearts and minds of listeners old and new. Since the founding members Anthony Hamilton, Eric Herrera and James Davis vowed to pursue a band while Anthony and Eric were finishing their terms in the Navy and James was finishing his business degree in Finance and Accounting from CU Boulder, the band – now consisting of lead guitarist Eric Johnson and bassist Andrew Bailey – hasn’t forgotten their mission statement: to write good songs – never becoming complacent for the sake of putting another song on the set. The band is confident in their songs’ longevity because of their ability to be diverse in their set, but also sustain ‘a sound.’
We are a hard rock band from humble Aurora, Colorado. Our ability to rock your soul is only surpassed by our ability to rock the stage!. Our hard-hitting, melodic sound is likely to leave you with a feeling of total awesomeness. Don't worry, this feeling is permanent and will only increase as we continue to play your favorite Devoutcast songs.
We combined the sounds of bands like A7X, BFMV, Ratt, and Metallica to create music that can only be described as one thing...WILD!
Our shows are exciting and totally wicked events! When Devoutcast takes the stage, it is impossible to stay in your seat. Your seat actually folds up and pushes you into crowd (true story). The music draws to your primal need to rock!...Sexually... ;D
So come rock with us!
