Aly & Fila / FSOE Island

As hot as the Sahara and standing every bit as tall as pyramids, they're the single most successful group to have emerged from the spiritual lands of Egypt. From the Med to the Red and from up high in Cairo, to down deep in the Sinai, they've built an immense, ultra-loyal in-country following, From that foothold turntable Shamans, Aly Amr Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib went global. With their career-launching Egyptrance releases (inc. 'Eye of Horus' and 'Spirit of Ka') through to latter-day master-blasters like 'We Control The Sunlight', their production credentials are only now matched by their spinning ones. Ranked as one of the 20 biggest DJ acts in EDM (source: DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs 2013), they delight crowds now numbered annually in the millions, bringing their inimitable sound to the world's most prestigious clubs and festivals. No mirage, no illusion - this is Aly & Fila.

For close to a decade their spirited take on the trance sound has captured the hearts, minds and imaginations of planet trance. With their whip-smart productions and sandstorm sonics, their performances have raised the bar at some of the world's most recognized clubs. Comparably they've also ruled at EDM's biggest festivals – EDC - Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Global Gathering, Dance Valley, Stereosonic, WMC and Full On Ferry to name just a few. Continuing in a long tradition of playing the world's most established and respected stages, in Spring 2014 they will rock ASOT 650. Marking the 8th successive year they'd done so, the Egyptian duo are the only spinners aside from Armin Van Buuren and Markus Schulz to have played such a run. This combined force of production and turntable feats has resulted in string of high charting positions in several of EDMs' key polls. Included amongst them are seven consecutive years in DJ Mag's annual countdown (reaching #20 in 2013) and a #2 notch on Trance Podiums Top 50 DJs in the same year.

Spreading the A&F message around the globe is their Future Sound of Egypt radio show. Beaming to countless thousands of desktops every week, August 2013 saw its 300th episode hit airwaves. This was marked by the FSOE 350 Woldwide Tour over 5 Cities, which drew fans from all four corners to these events. 2014 sees Aly & Fila reach 350 Episodes of the Radio show and will once again mark this celebration by hosting a worldwide FSOE 350 Tour with so far Sharm El Sheikh, New York City, El Salvador, Medellin and Lubiaz in Poland announced with more to be announced.

The Future Sound of Egypt marque is further amplified by Aly & Fila's widely respected imprint of the same name. A label sub-division of the industry leading Armada Music empire, through it they have rained continuous floor-fire, with one A-list championed release following another. With 'We Control the Sunlight', the pair scored the biggest trance track of the year when the listeners of Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance radio show voted it Tune of 2011. Throughout 2012 they continued to bring some of the year's best music to club & festival sound-systems. Among them were collaborations with Roger Shah (on 'Perfect Love') and Solarstone with 'Fireisland'. It also saw them re-team with 'We Control' singer Jawden on 'Coming Home', for a track that DJ Mag cited as "making hairs stand up, goosebumps pop, hands shoot up and jaws meet floors!" They also reworked Gareth Emery's 'Concrete Angel' (which subsequently became the best-selling trance track of 2012), as well as other smash tracks from Andy Moor and Alex M.O.R.P.H.

2013 saw the duo release the follow up to their Rising Sun Album by releasing their second artist album ' Quiet Storm' with monster hits including 'Mysteries Unfold' and 'Running Out of Time' .

2014 promises to see another waves of music from Aly & Fila. Already announced for this summer will be the release of their Third Artist Album titled ' The Other Shore' with several singles scheduled for release from the album. Also released in April 2014 is the Remix Album of their artist album Quiet Storm. This Year also sees Aly & Fila Mixing the legendary Trance Nation Compilation released by Ministry of Sound.

Arctic Moon

Thomas Popielarski, started producing music in late 2003 and in 2004 he began to produce dance/hard dance music under the alias of 'East-NRG System'.

In 2007 he focused on creating uplifting and euphoric trance music encompassing elements of classical, new age, chill out and even rock music.[4]

As the years progressed both quality of his music and his international reputation progressed as well. Arctic Moon became synonymous with labels such as Armada Music and Aly & Fila's world famous "Future Sound of Egypt Recordings" internet radio show. It was on "Future Sound of Egypt Recordings" that the singles "True Romance" and "Adelaide" were released. The tracks topped the download charts, and gained a massive amount of radio plays and huge gig support from a high number of top DJs.[5]

Added to Armin Van Buuren, Arctic Moon also has remixed Aly & Fila's massive vocal track "It Will Be OK", Dash Berlin's massive single "Till the Sky Falls Down" and "Vast Vision – Ambrosia" while other remix work has featured on labels such as Blue Soho, and Arisa Audio.

French producer & DJ Ferry Tayle was born in 1982. His first musical experience was with jazz. He started playing the saxophone at the age of 7. He became interested in electronic music by discovering Jean-Michel Jarre's first album. After 14 years of jazz music he decided to move into electronic music. He bought his first decks in 1999 and began to DJ. In 2000, he took his first steps in his professional development in the biggest club in the east of France called "Le Colysée". In just one year he had the chance to share the decks with some big names like Cosmic Gate, Darude, U96 and very well known French house DJ, David Guetta.

Later, he met and became friends with Nicolas "Cosmic Dreams", DJ & founder of Elektro-Shock, a French electronic music association. During some different events with Elektro-Shock, Ferry met TonKs, and became best friends. In 2001, he created his first project under the name Blackmoon Traxx with his two friends, Stephan & Vincent. After several unfruitful productions it was their remix of Ohm Boys - Thinking of You, one of Alex M.O.R.P.H.'s projects, which was released on Red Silver Rec. (a UK label) & brought Ferry Tayle & Blackmoon Traxx into the public scene.

During the summer 2004, Ferry Tayle & TonKs had the honor of sharing the decks with Rank 1 & Alex M.O.R.P.H. during the first big trance event in France. Following this event, Ferry decided to combine the TonKs' sound with Blackmoon Traxx. In November 2004, the new project Everest was born. In December, in search of a vocalist for this project, he met Tashita, a female Belgian artist. In 2005, Everest made their first track called Orée. Released in April 2006 on famous UK label Monster Tunes, Orée was the first turn in Ferry's career. In 2005 the track was featured on famous compilations like Sensation White Holland Edition (ID&T) and Technoclub Next Vol. 2 mixed by the legendary Talla 2XLC, and was massively supported by Paul van Dyk (2 times voted as the best DJ in the world), Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Robert Gitelman, and Stoneface & Terminal.

Still in 2005, Ferry Tayle next met David Emonin, a Franco-American fellow who was on the ETN.FM Admin Crew. A few months later, Ferry joined the ETN.FM DJ team and his show Universal Language attracted more & more worldwide attention. In August 2005, Ferry Tayle & Everest did their first live act in Lyon alongside Signum, Niklas Harding, Menno de Jong, Rank 1, Misja Helsloot, Sonicvibe & Nu-NRG.

2006 became the second big turn of Ferry Tayle's career. At the beginning of this year, Ferry Tayle met the genius L-Vee (Airwave). He proposed to Ferry to be his co-producer of the famous project Cape Town. In March, Proglifter was born and was the sign of the huge comeback of this project. Supported by Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, DJ Shah, Pedro del Mar, Manuel Le Saux, Proglifter was acclaimed as one of the best tracks of 2006. Vol De Nuit was another smash in 2006 produced with longtime friend TonKs.

In 2007, Vol De Nuit saw a release on Camouflage with a variety of excellent remixes which was supported by the biggest DJ across the world. Following that success, Ferry Tayle continued releasing massive tracks in partnership with Laurent Véronnez aka Airwave under the name of Cape Town. Métaphorique and Duo were huge hits that led up to the first Cape Town artist album Aviateur which was released in February 2008. This album contains brilliant trance throughout including brand new productions and some new versions of some older favorites.

2008 ends on a high note for Ferry Tayle with his Carnet De Vol album. This album features a wide range of trance and ambient featuring the talents of various artists like Manuel Le Saux and Stephan R. Revanche and Duo both make appearances on this incredible album which is sure to excite all trance fans!

Ferry Tayle's new tracks have seen support from the best DJs in the world like Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, and many more

With more and more productions and remixes in the works, Ferry Tayle is bound to be one to follow in 2009 and beyond.

Electronic music DJ & producer from New Jersey, US

[2014] A proud New Yorker now living in Switzerland, Sean Tyas burst onto the scene in 2006, after Sander van Doorn selected him as the winner of the "Punk'd" remix contest. Shortly after releasing his debut single and first #1 record (Lift), Mixmag & Beatport named him "Best New DJ" and "One To Watch," marking the beginning of Tyas' journey to becoming one of the most celebrated names in trance music. Throughout his 8 year career, he's racked up a multitude of landmark achievements, including a much lauded BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix to his credit—a rare feat by any trance artist. His discography is filled with 5 mix compilations and an impressive amount of #1 hits, such as his unforgettable remix of Dash Berlin and Emma Hewitt's "Waiting," and his ground breaking single "Seven Weeks," which spent an astounding 12 weeks at #1. Often known for turning a great track into a monster hit of 'tytanic' proportions, his remix credits include reworks for early Tiësto, Above & Beyond, Dash Berlin, Lange, Gareth Emery, and a co-production (Intricacy) with Armin van Buuren to name a few.

Tyas' 5 recent consecutive high rankings within the highly coveted DJ Mag Top 100 poll are a result of his dynamic DJ performances at some of the best clubs and festivals in the world, including Tomorrowland, A State Of Trance, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Ministry Of Sound, Judgement Sundays, Digital Society, Zouk Singapore, Beyond Wonderland, Pacha NYC, Avalon Hollywood, Exchange LA, Webster Hall NYC, Privilege Ibiza, and many more.

Due in part to the recent release of his smashing hit singles "Lose My Logic" and "Now You See," Tyas has easily become one of the most highly publicized artists within his genre. The last 3 months of 2013 alone saw Tyas garner over 220 assorted interviews, live show reviews, spotlight features, and track reviews featured by top music publications including Mixmag, VIBE, EARMILK, LessThan3, and the IDMA nominated, elektro Magazine. Both "Lose My Logic" and "Now You See" became his best charting singles within the last 3 years, with the latter reaching #2 and dominating the Top 5 for 6 consecutive weeks.
Tyas' steady trek to global dominance continues as evidenced by the recent signing of a high profile multi-album deal with Black Hole Recordings, the original label home of industry greats Tiësto, BT, and Ferry Corsten. His well-overdue debut album is slated for joint release by Black Hole Recordings and his own imprint, Tytanium Recordings, in mid-2015.

With esteemed music webzine elektro Magazine recently naming 2014 "The Year of the Tytan," it's evident the best is yet to come for Sean Tyas; we've only just witnessed the beginning.
