The Missing Teens

The Missing Teens

The Missing Teens are America’s heroes and the most attractive band of all time!

James Call (lead singer, keytar) is the glorious leader of the Missing Teens, a band that will rise and fall like the house of Rockefeller. He is the son of the phone number guy and a very successful businesswoman in the field of temporary legal staffing. He has over 10,000 wives in the New York City area alone, and is the leader of the Power of the Crystals cult. His twin cousin, Bob Schlemm, is a founding member of Bird-Ass productions, and his other twin brother, the rapper known as Tha Man Who Wud Be King, is a founding member of Da Spooj. James plays the keytar, screams, and sweats a lot. James has also played in the bands The Bosch, Valeze, and immortal far-out cult band German Cars vs. American Homes. His leathern wings spread across the face of rock, condemning all involved to a life of overquantized dance tracks and gated snare sounds.

Vinnie Ferrone

Born and raised in Newark, N. J., Vinnie Ferrone is a singer-songwriter who developed a love for melody and harmony as part of a Sunday choir. Over the years, he has compiled a repertoire in excess of 1200 songs, 200 of which are original compositions. Vinnie is a multi-instrumentalist (guitar-piano-bass-mandolin-harmonica-tenor & alto saxophone) who has logged many hours as a studio and stage musician for other performers. With an uncanny vocal ability to conjure up the spirit and sound of the singers whose songs he discriminatingly chooses to cover, his passionate and honest performances have garnered him the reputation of a 'one man band.'

The name of the band comes from the Halligan Tool, which is commonly used by New York City firefighters to break down doors, and windows. All the songs are contemporary murder ballads, influenced by such diverse musicians as Craig Finn, Steve Albini, and Ben Chasny.

Their first EP, “The Whiskey On Your Lips” was released in November 2011.
