Today's audiences are searching for something fresh, something new, something different. A.D.D., from humble Lockport, IL welcomes this challenge and gives rock fans hope of what's been missing in today's cookie-cutter world of music. This quintet, led by Margaret Young's words of real-life's hopes and failures, covers a cross-section of influences from the 70's to the present. As heard on their 11 track CD, produced by Tadpole (3 Doors Down, Disturbed), their mix of lyrical passion and superb musicianship make for a great recipe for success.
DMW is a five-piece music machine with JP Soule and Josh Barker trading leads and rhythms on the front line. Troll proves that the bass isn't something to be shoved into the background with brilliant and talented grooves sure to keep you moving. Topped off with Kryssie Ridolfi's bluesy-yet-rock'n'roll vocal styles, DMW promises to rock your face while you sing along. Recently seen opening for In This Moment, with their debut album "It Comes To This" flying off the shelves and a tour in the works, DEADMANSWAKE is about to show the world what the Chicago music scene really has to offer.
"Burning Eve" has spent much of the past winter writing and rehearsing new material for their upcoming album expected in late August or early September. After its release, the band anticipates a short regional tour of the Midwest. Burning Eve consists of fiery vocalist; Toyah, and the other members, guitarist: Kenny and bassist; Jeremy, Guitarist: Michael from Chicago, Illinois. They have brought forth a new heart-pounding rhythmic sound.
Persistence Of Memory is an up and coming hard rock band out of the Chicago land area. Singer Jennifer Imparato, Drummer Justin Luebek, Lead Guitarist Dan Bikar, Rhythm Guitarist Grant Forkenbrock, and Bassist Keith Hensley, join musical abilities together to create a dark melodic sound glorified by meaningful lyrics.
With themes of love, loss, and life, POM reaches their audience through their ears and into their hearts. POM has spent their first year together expanding their fan base and touring all over Illinois. Playing over 30 venues in 7 months, professionally recording their 5 song EP, winning the House Of Blues "Battle Of The Bands", Having a 2 page color article in "Bar Life" magazine, Interviewing on 3 radio stations, and hitting the stage with national acts Adema, Tantric, and Eve To Adam, POM has hit the ground running and they aren't planning on stopping!
The band is currently working on their first full length album "Minds-Eye" that should be recorded and mastered by Spring 2012.They are also filming their first music video to their hit single "Alone" that should be ready by December 2011.
The members of POM have some big goals set for 2012. Besides the release of their first CD, POM plans on going national and touring in California, Vegas, Texas, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Florida. Lead singer Jeni Imparato comments "We want to show the US that we are here and we are ready to take on the world with rock and roll!"
This highly driven, self-motivated band hopes to get signed by a recognized label before the end of 2012 and jump on a main stage at "Warped Tour" in 2013.
With a strong, goal oriented mindset, powerful music, dedicated members and adoring fans, its no wonder why POM has been making such big leaps in the pursuit of their dreams.
Well known for her voice in Mary and The Black Lamb, Lindz Riot is taking the reins yet again in her first ever solo effort “Schoolcraft”. Native to Canada, the classically trained vocalist and pianist draws new inspiration from nature, fantasy, electronic ambience, and symphonic orchestration. All while keeping the simplicity of piano driven pop ballads.
Atlanta based Last Red Ransom formed in 2007. Charlotte Kelli on vocals, keyboard, guitar and programming, Saint on vocals, guitary, keyboard and programming, Adair on drums, and Zakk on bass.
Their debut album released in 2010, Sleep Well Sweet Vanity, can only be described as epic and is a splendid introduction to the world, says John Wiled with Rock Realm. "Sleep Well Sweet Vanity" features an intoxicating array of styles and emotions, says Tony Cannella of Femme Metal. The album unfolds like the soundtrack of a dream screaming to awake. SMWV moves seamlessly through melodic rock hooks, raw metal, and industrial soundscapes. The pounding aggression of "October" and the symphonic flair of "Lay Down" offers listeners an exciting array of material.
This ambitious unveiling will leave you glad to have experienced LRR with the strange side-effect of being satisfied and craving more at the same time.
Straight-lined hard rock band based in Chicago fronted by a female vocalist. All members of 4WITHOUT have many years of experience as musicians, playing all over Chicago and suburbans venues. The music is very energetic and powerful with nice vocal melodies. The overall sound of 4WITHOUT is very promising, it's tight and catchy!
Formed in December of 2008 by Mark Villanueva (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Justin Fernandez (Bass/Vocals), Gerald Bonus (Guitar/Vocals), Jackson Fabros (Guitar/Vocals), and Rick Madison (Drums). They recorded a 5-song Demo @ Apetrax Recording Studio and played a handful of shows before Gerald's departure in September of 2010. In July of 2011, after a 10-month hiatus, Mark gave up his lead vocalist duties and the band recruited Deborah Villanueva, Mark's wife, as the new frontwoman of Virulence Factor. Virulence Factor can be described as a female-fronted heavy/melodic metal band consisting of catchy riffs, strong vocal harmonies from all three vocalists, soaring leads from both guitarists, and a groove-driven rhythm section.
