DJ Steve Porter
PORTERHOUSE MEDIA | PH RECORDINGS
By bridging the worlds of marketing and music, DJ STEVE PORTER has established himself as the go-to video producer for major companies across the globe.
A leading international DJ for more than a decade, Porter has been a fixture at music festivals and nightclubs throughout the world. His extensive career has included performances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Ultra Music Festival, as well as shows everywhere from China and Australia, to Croatia and Brazil. As a result, Porter was ranked #2 on the DJ Times’ “America’s Best DJ” list in 2009.
That same year, Porter turned his sights to video remixing when he remixed the “Slap Chop” infomercial into the Rap Chop, which became a viral sensation and garnered over 13 million views. The worlds of advertising, entertainment, sports, and popular culture all took note, and hired Steve Porter to create “video mash-ups” to reach their consumers.
To facilitate the creation of his in-demand remix videos, Steve Porter founded his production company PorterHouse Media in 2009. In just the past two years, PorterHouse has been hired to create the 2010 NBA Playoff/Finals marketing campaign, E! Network promos for their award season red carpet coverage, and a project with ESPN’s “NFL Countdown” for which Porter personally creates and premieres mash-up videos around NFL games for both the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
Porter has also recently been hired to create viral videos for major companies such as ABC, NBC, VH1, New York Knicks, Wheaties, Disney, Hyundai, FedEx, and the Sierra Club. As a result, he has been hailed as the “Digital Mix Master” by Sports Illustrated Magazine, and a commercial he created for Wheaties FUEL was ranked on Advertising Age’s “Viral Video Top 10 Chart” during the summer of 2011.
With a growing production company and unparalleled music and remixing skills, Steve Porter is a pioneer in the video remixing world who remains at the forefront of the industry. His magic touch turns ordinary footage into viral sensations, and the possibilities for these videos are endless… stay tuned for a lot more Steve Porter and PorterHouse Media!!!!
Eli Wilkie learned to DJ at the tender age of four, after watching a TV special about a disco club that was burned to the ground. After years of playing the new-wave circuit in cities like Myrtle Beach and Santa Barbara, Eli decided to settle down and perfect his craft of musical mind control in Boston, MA. Now, Eli shares his musical gift with those who aspire to new levels of juicy goodness.
TRUE PRODUCTIONS | PH RECORDINGS
With seamless integration of hip hop , electro & house, the Repeat Offenders are carving themselves a niche in dance music. Their trade mark sound consists of swinging low-end bass-lines, catchy club synths, and potent lyrics. Since their inception in late 2009, DJ's BONS and Vadum Rankin have been sharpening each other's strengths to produce music that is (hood) rich, opulent, and uncustomary.
Before collaborating as the Repeat Offenders, each shined in their own right. BONS a veteran DJ and pioneer of Growroom Records played a key roll in the early EDM scene in New England. Later he collaborated with Screwface Johnson (of OMG recordings) and formed Bon Johnson, who were most notably infamous for their cult classic "slumber party massacre". Currently he is deeply planted in the Porterhouse Media camp, working on video remix projects with America's #2 rated DJ, Steve Porter. Vadum, one of Boston club scenes most integral players, has been responsible, for some of the most celebrated events over the last 3-4 yrs. Long time affiliate of the Delorean Music Company, Vadum has releases out with Hot Pink Delorean and Fantastadon. The tracks are boasting support from the likes of Fake Blood, Mighty Fools and Nom de Strip.
By actively promoting their wears and performing along-side artists: Laidback Luke, Bart Bmore, and Jack Beats, the duo's street cred. is in tact. With the trap on lock Repeat Offenders are poised to make noise for years to come!!
