Young Statues

Young Statues

Full of swelling guitars, intricate vocal melodies, harmonies and introspective lyrics, Young Statues is evidence of a group of musicians who have honed their skills and made a record to be revered for it's beauty, tact, and honesty.

Bright And Early

We've tried to come up with a bio but they all sound lame. We just started this band a few months ago. It's not that complicated. Working 9-5 is hell for guys like us. All we want in life is to just write music and tour, so that's exactly what we're gonna do! We'll be hitting the road a few months from now. If you REALLY want an interesting BIO, help us create one from the ground up.

Case Closed - CD Release Show

Case Closed got its start back in the spring of 2006 by four friends in high school. After a couple months they record their first four songs, which creates a lot of buzz in the southern part of New Jersey. Within 6 months the band said goodbye to Dave, guitarist/vocalist, due to creative differences. Before long the band found it tougher than expected to reproduce the same distinct sound they had originally created a...nd the band quickly ended. Shortly after, remaining members (Curt, Dan, & Phil) started a new band known as Alert The Media. The band had a short but sweet two-year career that landed them countless shows and tour experience. Although the split with Dave was tough, the four remained close friends over the years. In May of 2010, the four best friends came together once again to pick up where they had left off. A few short months led to the recording of new material that once again created a stir with their distinctive indie pop sound. They were recently featured on Live at 5 on Radio104.5 Philadelphia and are currently in the process of releasing their new 3-song ep, which they recorded with friend/mentor, Nik Bruzzesse of Man Overboard (Run for Cover Records). The free EP entitled, This is Bad. That was Terrible. is due to release in early November. The future has much in store for Case Closed. The band expects to begin touring in the next few months. They recently caught the attention of renowned producer Jesse Cannon (Saves The Day, Say Anything) and are planning the recording of their debut album for January 2011. Over the years we've gotten to share the stage with such acts as The Color Fred (Equal Vision), There For Tomorrow (Hopeless), Versa Emerge (Fueled By Ramen), Conditions, The Morning Of (Tragic Hero), Farewell (Epitaph), Mae, The Scenic (Victory), Sparks The Rescue (Fearless), Thieves and Villians (Victory), Asteria , This Century, The Wonder Years (No Sleep), Man Overboard (Run for Cover), Close To Home, American Diary Hotspur

Edelweiss

The Edelweiss story began with 16-year old Niko Porlier (guitar/vox) and his brother, 14-year old Coby (drums), collaborating on music at home together. Through friends, the Porlier brothers were introduced to Tommy Vitale (bass/vox) and shortly thereafter, Tony Young (guitar) completed the band's lineup. In just under one year together, Edelweiss has seen their local fan base blossom, developing into a major draw at club and theater venues in the area while at the same time playing to crowds sixteen thousand strong at large-scale regional music events.

The members of Edelweiss draw their influences primarily from a combination of bands like Foals, Bloc Party, Editors, and others while also drawing upon a sound that hearkens back to the original post-punk movement spearheaded by bands such as Joy Division. This has led to the creation of a distinct style of indie pop music destined to turn the music industry's spotlight on a young band from a small Pennsylvania town very soon.
