The 85's are a "totally rad" dance party band performing high energy and "true to the original" renditions of classic pop and rock songs from the 80's!

Since forming the group in 2005 the band has been entertaining audiences at major clubs, private events and outdoor festivals with their myriad of classic songs from the 80's era from artists such as: The Clash, Devo, English Beat, Eurythmics, The Fixx, Madonna, Police, Pretenders, Prince, Talking Heads, and Van Halen!

The band was formed by three Marin musicians; Monroe Grisman- Guitar/vocals, Adam 'bagel' Berkowitz-Drums/vocals, Django Bayless- Bass/vocals all of whom graduated from Tamalpais High School in 1985 and then went on to perform with some of the North Bay's favorite bands over the past 20 years as current or former members of: Petty Theft, About Face, American Drag, Jerry Hannan and Noelle Hampton. The band also features the superb lead vocal talent of April Ryan Grisman who has worked with Eric Martin, Clarence Clemons, and Irene Cara. New to the 85's but not the bay area music scene is Amy Levine on keyboards/vocals formally of Notorious.
