Drake White
Man in the Ring

Drake White is an aspiring singer songwriter residing in Nashville, TN. The Hokes Bluff, Alabama native has a very different country feel with a freestyle twist on many of his original songs. He ad-libs throughout a show phrasing rhythmic lyrics as his entertaining live show unfolds. Drake frequently involves the audience in his witty craftsmanship of verbalization as well. The enthusiastic 27 year old credits many country, blues, rock, freestyle and bluegrass influences that forms his musical sound that is unique in its own way. The EMI singer/songwriter is incredibly motivated in his pursuit of creating great music and wants nothing more than to do what he loves. He is a God fearing, river rat, beach bum that loves the outdoors and expresses this love through his soulful lyrical exchanges that breeze through the listener's ears effortlessly.
Man in the Ring
Man in the Ring, the up and rising folk rock band from Columbia, Missouri just released their second album, Live at the Blue Note. Their music explores numerous genres and artistic aspects. Some influences are: Steely Dan, Thomas Pridgen, and Jason Mraz. The five piece band, including electric violin, is community favorite playing charity events, local battle of the bands, and headlining at the nostalgic venues throughout Columbia.
After releasing their self titled LP in December of 2009, the boys have been busy living the dream and filling requests of Columbia to play around town and for local events. The band has never had a lack of inspiration or passion, “One of our favorite things is the challenge of creating a musically appropriate texture, that fits between the rhythm section of Drake, Kyle Day, Nate, and Brad's guitar and the lead voices of Kyle Pudenz's violin and Brad's vocals.”
The band has accrued a supportive fan base and continually thanks them by donating 25% of their profits back to the community. “We think its important to show some support to the people who really are trying to do good things in this world, and if you don't have the time or the will to do these things yourself, it is just as important to give whatever resources you can to those who do”
Combining the unique sounds of raw talent and the rare sounds of an electric violin, MITR is an easy option for a new favorite band or for a familiar aspect to your growing music library.
