Burn Blue Sky has officially been destroying the Ohio landscape and surrounding territory with loud rock n roll for over 10 years. Now with the release of their second album "Celebrate The Decline" they are ready to keep the ears of the local music venue patron ringing for years to come. There are plans for spreading the word via the rock n roll stage in 2011 with multiple show dates and
radio appearances. And hopefully, if the stars align, this band will spread beyond the rust belt.......

Since clawing their way out of the sludge of Akron at the onset of 2003, Northeast Ohio's Rue have been bringing a rock demolition to the masses. Relentlessly loud and hard hitting, Rue have hammered the U.S. touring and appearing with Weedeater, Bongzilla, Rwake, Dot[.], Graves at Sea, Zoroaster, Keelhaul, Goatwhore, Eyehategod, Mushroomhead, Yob, -16-, Alabama Thunderpussy, Meatjack, High on Fire, Unsane, and numerous others. Rue teamed with independent stalwart Shifty Records to release their self-titled debut CD in late 2003, and participated in a split CD with Portaland's Aldebaran in 2004. In winter of 2007 Rue recorded "A Heart Held by Demons" EP (A limited pressing of vinyl only) which was released in summer 2008 on Shifty Records. Rue has also been wrighting new material for a full length CD which will be recorded some time in 2008, and then shoped around to labels and plan to release in 2008/2009. With influences ranging from Iron Monkey, Buzzoven, and Celtic Frost, to the Melvins, Acid Bath, and Black Flag, Rue like to lay it down thick and with precision. They plan to defile the road with relentless touring in 2008/2009, so keep an eye out for
Rue to blow the windows out of your local bar, tavern, or concert club. You'll hear them coming.

Easily identifiable? Clearly defined? Not on your life. Not when when speaking of the means, the end, the method or the maddness of Rue. However, for thousands of years, Rue has somehow endured. Through a plethora of line - up changes, broken down vans and trailers and busted tours, all while having been met with nothing less than sheer indifference by the music industry, we slog ever onward. That is, until today. When, with weary eyes and jaded hearts, we not only indulge the urge, we obliviate. The purpose is not the mere easement of our pain, but to drown in sarrow. Then bloated and stinking, we drift away from this marked, beaten path and blindly into the wilderness. Throw away that tattered, useless map and surrender these endeavers to the random currents. And so our home is this roiling forest. A breathing sea. Darkness. From this haze, this death in life, we broadcast to you. Born upon wave after wave of self immolation, our message could not be more pure. Do not expect us to explain or to offer further insight into the language that has already been provided. And we will not repeat ourselves anymore than we are forced to do due to the inevitable redundancy inherent to this particular craft.
