Porch 40 is a 5 piece Progressive Southern Funk Rock band with a saxophonist, electric violinist, killer front man and a tight bass/drums rhythm section that holds it all together. They are one of the quickest growing bands in the region and toured with The Marshall Tucker Band this past January. Most recently, they shared the stage with The Doobie Brothers and REO Speedwagon in September, while also adding in other performances with Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and more. They have additional tour dates with The Marshall Tucker Band and Leftover Salmon coming up on their calendar this fall as we speak.

Edgy? Sure. Funky? No doubt. Punkish? Maybe. Porch 40 has grown from a house party to a regionally touring band in the short span of two years. It's still extremely difficult to describe the gifted 5-piece's unique sound.

With their "grab your attention and won't let go" style, Porch 40's high energy sets quickly whip crowds into a frenzy. With their unequaled instrumentation, which includes an electric violin and saxophone, the band brings crowds a rejuvenating sound that is as refreshing as it is melodic to the ears.

While some bands are into gimmicks and image, this group of young, talented musicians have devoted their heart and soul into creating original music…and it shows every time they step on stage. Porch 40 has shared the stage with the likes of legendary groups such as The Marshall Tucker Band and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, along with a host of notable contemporary artists. Their recent debut album release of "Spread it Heavy" is the culmination of hard work and dedication as they continue to live through their music.
