the Hate Album Release
In the Whale, All Capitals

The Hate is the empowered musical voice of a youth culture that is seeking a new rebellion. The music is loud, honest, and abrasive. The stories expel off their tongues with conviction and truth. The Hate is an earnest cry for those seeking more and their message is...
“We are the authors of the future. We are the architects of a time regarded as still to come. And we will rise like the sands of the desert. Rise like the waves of the ocean and the winds of the mountains and you will hear us. You will see us. You will feel our words in your bones, in your very soul. For We are the future. You are the future!
In The Whale originally formed in the small town of Greeley, Colorado as a fun escape from their main bands. When those bands dissolved, it quickly became their focus, and in February of 2011 they moved to Denver to be a part of the music scene and try to build a legitimate fan base.
Since their move, they have been the name on everyone’s lips, turning heads with their aggressive and energetic live show, in spite of their small numbers. The band finished off the year with an EP release show, selling out the Hi-Dive, a 300 capacity venue and the go to spot for up and coming Denver bands. The EP, “Cake,” is dirty and aggressive, yet surprisingly light-hearted (think Eagles of Death Metal meets The White Stripes).
With an absolutely undeniable live show and a tenacious work ethic, this local Denver band won’t be local for long.
"all capitals" is the collaboration of three passionate musicians living in the Denver metro area---we are Jim,Tony and Paul---our music is our product and our hearts are in our music, but, our hearts are not for sale. It is our goal to share with you our perspectives of the world through our music and hopefully, to reach a few people with profound likeness---with our minds strapped to our sides and our night-vision goggles strapped around our heads; we are marching forward. Seeking out the Dragon who rules in tyrany over civilizations of traditional complacent obedience. We fight without arrogance and seek no reward, but without participation, our battle is futile. After all, it's just rock n' roll, and it's no secret that rock n' roll is fun!
