Opiate - The Tool Experience

Opiate is a band that plays Tool songs, but they don't just play them. You can tell that they have listened very carefully to every little detail, and they have put a great deal of passion and dedication into being able to recreate Tool's music in a live setting. Covering Tool songs is a bold and challenging endeavor, and Opiate has succeeded admirably.

Opiate is probably the very best Tool cover band out there! This is what I imagine it would be like actually see Tool before
they made it big, just jamming out at a local venue! The lead singer came out dressed like Maynard used to with his face painted and wearing a bra. The band was absolutely amazing! And the bass player didn't miss a single note, which is really saying something considering the difficulty and precision it takes to play Tool songs!! The visual show was a lot like what you see when you actually go to a Tool concert too! Not exactly, but very close. A lot of the Alex Grey artwork made into a streaming video complimenting the music very well. Favorite moment: Dancing in the balcony and watching the visual show!
